This game is two years old did you stopand thought aboutthat ? And actually they don't know what's going on in the game so they can't really balance stuff without getting all of us nerfed in the end.

Votes of no confidence post are 100% inappropriate for this forum (both those about the devs and the correspondent and anyone else) as well as personal attack threads. If you are so emotionally moved by the changes you may want to step away from the computer for a little bit to calm down before posting.

I am the last person to support the whining and complaining that goes on in these forums. I believe if you don't have something constructive to say, don't bother posting. However, if something is wrong in the game, or you don't like the way things are going, I also think you have every right to say so. We pay for this game, and we pay considerably more to play these on-line games than any other normal video game. These forums give us a place to interact and to voice our concerns. Even some of the less than productive posts often have a place in that they add support by way of sheer numbers to emphasize the importance of a particular issue.
With all that in mind, I took great offense to Garva's post. Garva's position does not put him above the same standards I would expect out of anyone, namely that first issue of "if you don't have something productive to post, don't bother". In fact I would hold someone in Garva's position to a higher standard. We get zero official communication from SOE most of the time, and the one time we do, it's just another "stop whining, the dev's aren't listening anyway" thread. Did we really need another one of these? And from Garva no less? In what way was this productive? In what way was this post necessary? Simply as a way to justify further locking and deletion of threads? We already know which threads will get locked or deleted. I would think if anyone would know better than to feed the trolls it would be Garva.
Instead of coming here and giving us some indication that our concerns were being looked at. Or providing us with some idea as to which of the new changes might be re-evaluated, Garva simply came here to fan the flames. As someone who's job it is to interact with the on-line community, I would expect him to have a better idea of how a post like this would be received. If he expected any reaction but the one he got, all I can say is shame on him. We deserve much better communication than this.

I guess thats what happens when they ignore the community. And then pull stunts like this.
Do you think they would have rolled back the XP nerf had the community not expressed its outrage and produce a 1000 post thread in 72hrs that was 98% condemming that nerf? how else are we going to try to make the game better while major bugs go ignored for months on end.
I dont have a problem with angry posts as long as they are not offensive and trolling, they dont even have to be detailed constructive posts. A lot of people put a lot of time and money into this game/toons and dont have any say when this stuff happens. This is a place for them to vent, some leave, some stay, some try to give SOE one more chance to make things right. All I can say is its been down hill since the CU. Show me a bug free Publish or Expansion just once(and I mean major bugs) and I may change my mind. But the SOE DEV's need to start talking about balance again in this game soon or I'll be out of here.

I'll say this plain and simpleTHEY SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE BEFORE RELEASING THE PATCH. NO ONE PUTS AN INCOMPLETE PRODUCT BESIDES SOE.
the only other company that puts out an unfinished product is microsoft
