Thread: Turn off all XP loss until game fixed!

LOL. Wrong. Oh so very wrong. Originally there was permadeath for jedi. Then there was skill loss. Then there was xp loss for cloning and bh's. Now all there is, is xp loss from a bh deathblow. The newb jedi need to realize the life of a jedi is NOT the same as a normal player NOR a BH. They need to realize that even now they have more skills available to them than any other player. The Jedi profession, while the devs said is to be 1.5x stronger, is STILL supposed to be a "cool alt" character. Hence why EVERY jedi get's a free alt on their server. Finally the dev's realized the Alpha Class Jedi was a bad move. It has inundated the servers with 100's of jedi that for too long have gone unchecked. You want xp loss removed? Then Jedi need to be nerfed more. They need to be a regular profession then. Are you willing to have that?
And don't tell me that jedi already are a regular profession. They aren't. Just because a MCM template can own Jedi doesn't mean anything. Don't cry about bh's either. If you want anything nerfed it needs to be MCM, not MBH. The MBH profession as a stand alone prof is quite UNDERPOWERED. I have both a pre9-preCU jedi and have been a BH for over 2 years and I can tell you that without a doubt MBH as a stand alone is borked. Underhand shot sucks. Eyeshot does nothing (blind state does not work). Confusion shot is worthless (dizzy and stun rarely stick and are both broken) DuelistStance is a joke against jedi but works well against NPC Ranged whoopty. And Torso Shot (Bleed) is the worst tick DOT in the game. So please, stop crying about BH's. It's the MCM templates that are causing you the pain.
But as always you can keep your butts off theterminals by not afking in the rryatt trail (though now you'll get owned if you do that) and by not killing npc's or using powers in front of npc's or other players. Maybe tough but if you want to be left alone then that's what you need to do. I stayed off the terminals for a long time when I did the grind. I didn't have one bh till I was already MLS-4004 Heal-4004 enhance in the old system around pub 11. If I could do it then, you can do it now. The problem is you all like to show off. Quit it and you'll be left alone. It's really quite simple.

Actually Tanks said multiple times one of the reasons to keep the XP loss in game is to prevent people from exploiting the credits.
I'm not discounting it was also another form of penalty but I can assure you it was also their to prevent people from farming Jedi for credits.

I agree totally about staying off the terms. During my Jedi grind, the only time I gotBH visitswas when you got vis for grouping. After they removed that, I never got another visit through my whole grind.
