Thread: Force Speed
I can't find this on the bug or issue list. Is Force Speed under Powers suppose to speed up the jediAND the combat target?
I thought for sure I would hit at least 1-1/2 times more with Force Speed in the level 1 box. Cool animation, but there is really no benefit thatI can tell.
Force speed is in the 4xxx line of enhancer. It does nothing to the target. You do appear to swing faster. From my testing without force speed running I cannot hit at my modified speed, however, when I use force speed I can. There is something a little flaky about force speed, but it has nothing to do with the target. I would be tempted to believe that your modified speed takes into account the fact that you have force speed 2 and assumes that it is active, while that seems a bit odd I have no other explanation.
As I checked my combat log and compare between using it and not using Force Speed, I am not seeing any noticeable difference in how fast I am executing hits compared to the creature hitting me. I have done the same routine using the same series of specials. Armor break, saber throw, head hit, power attack (warmup), saber throw, headt hit, power attack against a CL80 dewback. The dewback hits me for just as many times during the combat as I hit it regardless if Force Speed is on or not. The only noticeable difference is that the animation of the combat itself goes faster thus it appears the creature speeds up as well.
Granted this is just the level 1 box of Force Speed, but you would think you could tell the difference with it or without it.
I just question is it really functioning the way it suppose to?
