Mainly why they decided to take out pearls without any alternative to getting prem/flawless and going and working on ToOW without first making a system or quests to be able to get pearls. If we cant even get pearls, then we should be able to know why they took them out of the game, or if not that, atleast an ETA on when they will be coming back, it has toned down the jedi tremendously and is a problem that everyone is aware of.

But it cant be stressed enough, so this should be included in why they decided to work on ToOW instead of giving us back our pearls, or why they couldn't implement pearls with ToOW.

Pre cu there were 2 lines efficiancy and damage. speed and damage were combined and force cost was efficiency. They split up speed and damage into 2 lines and added sac to the efficiency line and added 12 point suits. If they were to recombine the speed and damage lines you would be able to (with the 12 point suit) come fairly closeto a pre cu saber hilt. Combined with premium and flawless returning to the game this effectively revitalizes our sabers as the lack of damage or lack of speed after getting a force cost/sac cost you can live with is the stem of our post cu saber woes. Even with4 perfect tunes pre cu sabers are still uber in comparison because you aren't getting a great hilt to build on.

I agree! 7-8 months without FRS is kind of pushing it. To top it off, not ONE single info about the FRS was mentioned since the release of CU. It's like I’m playing Super Mario Bros & I am stuck on lvl 1 awaiting for the DEVS to add lvl 2. How much longer do we have to stay at lvl 1? Baciacca, please try to get some info about the FRS for us even if it's small.

It would be cool if the DEVS can even turn on the old FRS and cap any advancement past Jedi Knight till the new FRS is released. This will give a lot of Jedi something do, and it will make PVP a bit more interesting since Knights are perma overt.

Wishlist:



  • Jedi mission terminals (in form of a Force Shrine) whatever will be inside of it (any of us could suggest 1000 of different things);

  • LS speed needs to fixed;

  • Removal bug/exploit allowingmultiple BHs to attack on you;

  • FRS with real need/possibility to advance;

  • Adding body hits/moves line to any Jedi prof Devs like as any Jedi we've ever seen in movies/books/comics do (and fencer in SWG too - so it is possible);

  • Changing all Master Box (esp. Powers, Healer, Defender, Ench.) so they would be desired indeed;

  • Fixing states/state defenses, so they would finally work at least in some way;

  • Allowing to finaly do smth. with Force Sensitive boxes, either to respec 9at least to other FS boxes) or to drop;

/positiveness off

I tried this when I first started. I gathered a list of questions and requested answerd. Devs never replied. I will gladly do this again but instead of me gathering questions lets collect them here. Ill take them to the Devs and we can go from there. As the thread says, lets keep them simple and to the point everyone. Thanks.






Nothing against you Bac but after having great coro's like Arjun and SonGouki and nothing getting accomplished its pretty obvious the Dev's dont really care what jedi have to say about their proffession or at least they arent interested in addressing our concerns. I pretty much figured you dont post very often because you have hit the same wall they did.


And pretty much all the issues we have are year or more old issues they know we hate what has happened to our proffession and they know what they are doing when they nerf us. The "list" has been submitted plenty of times with no answer at this point their really is no point.

I respectfully disagree with this line of thinking. I think, as the OP suggested, we need to constructively and positively continue to list our concerns. Sure, the DEVs may not listen. Sure, Bacc may face a tough road in getting even one of our problems addressed quickly. IMHO, that still doesn't mean you give up and let the crybabies and whiners ruin what is left of our profession. Some of you state in practically every post how much you love Star Wars, being a Jedi, this game, etc. But then what happens? Those same people commence to flaming the DEVs and bickering amongst others of our same profession.


Look, I don't expectanyone to get kicked in the nuts for 2 years and be happy about it. But the manner in which we have gone about seeking changeshas been ineffective. Just for irony's sake, let's try a new approach.

What is the developers vision for jedi in this game?


Where do the developers see the power scale of jedi being in relation to other elite professions? (i.e. we started out cutting swaths through 20 players, and the most recent vision was we were to be 1.5x the average elite profession, now it seems we are on equal depending)


Will there ever be a mechanism put in place to level the playing field between pre-cu and post-cu jedi as far as saber hilt quality goes.

forget the simple little questions. i wanna understand the concept, the big developpment plans. because i dont see where the little fixes will lead us. where will swg be in 6 months?


how do they c star wars galaxies in 6 months?


1) how many jedi are running arround?


2) what do those jedi do every day? (has some links to question one. because frs has to consider the number of jedi that will be there in the future. i amalso interested on the role of the jedi in the great civil war. because as it is,it is quit boring on my server(europe-infinity)


3) will jedi ever be allowed to change servers? (or maybe a server merge, etc etc) (directly linked to question number 2. because i feel somehow lonely and bored. no civil war, not much else to do)


4) how are lightsabers intended to work? as high dammage weapons like those from pre cu, or like lowdammage weapon, like those from post cu. (directly lnked to question 1 and 2. because a lot of high dammage dealers might be a major problem in GCW)


5) are there any big template changes to be expected in the defender or healer tree?

Look, we have been thru 3 allmost total jedirevamps multipile patchs and the CU. Anything the jedi revamps fixed ended up getting nerfed resulting in more revamps. We are a proffession in constant choas one day one thing is working fine the next day we are waiting for a fix this has been going on since i became a jedi which was right before they removed perma death.


Right now we have an expansion which they pretty much said would include cool new robes and jedi content in fact they had to assure everyone it wasent "just" for jedi but they wouldnt even spend the time to make "new"robes for us. They have taken away our ability to make nice weapons, they have taken away the FRS and they have and continue to take away any and all perks that our proffessions includes.


What are we waiting for now jedi revamp 10 which will make it all better? Im not saying im quiting right at the moment but the facts about what has happened to our proffession cant be denied.


Its hard to quit SWG when you have invested so much time in your character and have known people for so long thats for sure and im sure thats why many of the people still play but SWG is walking a thin line and this expansion being download only is a telling fact that they dont think they can push TooW in stores.
