Thread: you are not cool unless you like PVP
I don't mean to flame and all that
But some of you guys are going to be in fora rude awakening if they ever bring back the FRS and have Knight = Perma overt thing.
We could sit here all night and argue over what constitutes PvP, however 1-4 BH attacking you until you clone and loose VIS or a gank squad of 10-20 chasing you all over your server all night until you log, both are PvP but for those that think BH missons are the paramount of PvP.... they will learn in time
I think the posted that replied to the '29 BHs' with the line '29 Duels' had it spot on.
Now that being said i want the servers back up so i can go PvP

who says the new frs wil be anything like the old one? with all the fight club exploiting to climb the ladder, do you think they will make the same mistake again?
i expect it to be much more quest based and much less slaughter based.
I remember the good old days when the Devs said, "Jedi game play will not suit everyone"and people listened. Either they decided they wanted it or they didn't and those that finished actually enjoyed the aspects of Jedi including the PvP and BHes.
PvP is a part of being a Jedi whether we like it or not and that is never going to change. BHes comingafter you is not PvP, it is an obstacle to overcome in your progression and can be avoided by being careful. If you don't like PvP, you might as well log the Jedi off now.

I think you have it backwards. I think you need to reroll on a PvP server. Considering the fact we're already on PvE servers, where PvP is optional outside of the force BH encounter.
With that aside, I have a love/hate relationship with PvP in this game. There is no mechanic in the game that allows there to be a fun, even landscape for PvP, and that is the problem. I don't bother with PvP anymore, as it's the same old, same old, ruled completely by gank squads, and I don't like to be in those squads or against them. They need to bring back battlefields, working of course, where there is an X number of people allowed by both sides. If someone dies in the battlefield, they're booted, the next person in line takes their spot.
Complete chaos in a confined area where the numbers are even. Now that is PvP.

I dont think so, too many care bears these days, whine about pvp where they were already told that they were gonna get the pvp, if you dont like it dont do it, you chose jedi, you knew jedi have BH encounters, SoE has clearly stated thatfact, so has the player base, if you dont want the BH/jedi relationship then your not cut out to be a jedi, its like choosing to be on a PvP server then whining because "OMG I need to PvP now??!??!? what kinda crap is this!!" now go slap yourself for saying stupid things.

I saw that they will be donig something so you had to be in the positive XP to get FRS that would fix the fight club problem or will make a hell of alot of grinding groups lol
Well I will start PvP again if the devs fixes all the bugs/exploits ther is now!
As Cool down timer and healing droid exploit!
