Whatever... The game is like I want it now. If you do not care about the star wars feel we finally got, just leave. I play this game becouse it's a star wars game, not becouse it's an mmorpg.

If it wasnt for the endless postCU jedi whining about xp loss we would still have playerbounties ingame.They all knew the risks with jedi, so why grind a forced pvp profession if you didnt like it?
MSNil I rarelyt post on the Jedi forums because I hate the whining and discontent and general attitude here and on the BH forums but I respect and appreciate the time effort and dedication you have given to this game. I could not agree with you more in the tone you have taken with this post. This game is looking to finally live up to the greatness it has always had the potential to be. It has largely been a star wars fan's game and not necessarily a mmorpg fan's game. Although the community is a large factor in the unique experience here Star Wars i the main reason most of us picke it up in the first place. So to piggyback on what you said, "If you don't like it please, just go. nobody cares if you don't like it and if you are leaving. Many of us are really looking forward to these changes. Good luck in whatever you move on to"
I cannot understand at all the conclusion you come to from what you have just said.
You asked for a MMORPG - what we have now is a MMO FPS shooter (yes, I've tried it on TC).
The 39 (?) professions we had are reduced to 9;
the alpha end-class that originally took months to earn and was hunted by its own enemy class is now a starter profession with powers equivalent to any other class;
the skills and tactics given to you by the 24 hotbat buttons give you now three basic specials;
the combat system that required planning and strategy is now a FPS twitch and aim system;
the crafting system has been dumbed down alongside other crafting professions that have been abolished;
and all interface and GUI operations and commands have been simplified for the coming transition to console (as is now being advertised)
If you really think this is now a MMORPG in comparison with what was before you are severely deluding yourself.
What we have now is a streamlined, not to say simplified game, a cross between Diablo and Unreal (which according to one of the Austin testers I have been talking to on TS is acutally the game the Devs DO play, not SWG). If this is the kind of game you like, then, yes, you got what you wanted.

Ok we got what we wanted. You didnt so please go and let us have the game we want but you don't approve of. You i think are one of the people that play this for the MMORPG not the Star Wars. You should go as it is not the game you bought into. If you think FPS is as dumbed down as people say and requires any less skill than turn-based combat then we apparently have differing views, which is fine. You are allowed to have and express your views as am I. /shrug

It's ironic that your assumptions about me are so wrong. I never gave a damn about Star Wars - I like the first two movies, the third was passable, the remaining three were poor.
I played this game because it was an MMORPG, not a MMO twitch-based shooter. I think you can't tell the difference between them /shrug
I'm sorry if I used the word 'dumbed down' and you felt yourself insulted. I should have used 'simplified', 'streamlined', 'for those with shorter attention spans'.
And no, I will not go. I'm paid up till February thanks to advertising and marketing promises for the last expansion. There are many, many people like us out there - read the forums.
And the fact that you use the word 'we' to back up your assertions, is ridiculous. You speak for yourself alone. Why the hell do you think the forums are in an uproar save for a few stooges - I'm sorry but that's the most accurate term available - like yourself, kid?
and f*ck you people that say leave the game if we dont like it. The carebears stayed and got their way....
hell, i should take a page from their book....LOL
Heck we should stay to give people like u more forum drama and grief hehe..
oh yeah, to the stupid idiot who said hell wait till its confirmed, well he JUST SAID HE WAS ON THE TC...man....
