Maybe it's from a going forward stage... So maybe we're all grandfathered until we use the ADK post pub-23. So destroying the ADK'd item will produce a normal ADK, but once you try to ADK an item post pub-23 you'll get the bio-linked dialog. Does anyone want to test this?

I can confirm this, just used the spare ADK i've got to ADK a shirt, no biolink notification, nor did my name appear anywhere on the ADK'd item.

Did you destroy the item to retrieve your ADK and then check the ADK?

I did. I destroyed my older saber that I wasn't planning on using again. Took the ADK that was left, and reapplied it to a new clothing item. Nothing unusual happened.

better test would be to destroy the item, give the adk to your alt and try to use it on something else.

Yup destroyed the shirt, again no notification or anything to say its Biolinked. In fact I've just got an ADK off a vendor, applied it to an old scatter pistol, used the pistol destroyed it and reclaimed the ADK, same results.

Well at least it looks like the Dev's messed up the bio-linking in this instance then. Have you tried to trade the ADK to an alt?

the question is, can you now give this adk to another char and be able to use it?

I'm going to test this as soon as i get home from work.. i have an ADK i've been meaning to give to an alt and haven't.. i'll give it to them.. ADK somehing, trade it, see if equipable.. trade it back, destroy and trade the ADK over to the original and try to ADK something...

I can confirm they do not get Bio-linked to
bio-linked a shirt, destroyed it and another person bio-linked something and destroyed it to
