Back up with facts. Look at the IGE forums, they are all one page, except Jedi which was around 7 last I checked.

Facts? Why do you need facts?

Because people like you, like the corrospondants with guns to their backs "it's so gooood". I stick to my estimate of 90% Jedi. I'm thinking about other people than myself. Ive been saying for ages we should be leveled out with othe profs, that's not my problem here. There are some people who play to craft. Some people who play to dance. "oooh its starwarsy" no its not, it's jedi wars, and we are given another game, that will be incomplete at launch and rough as a badgers a$$ hole Just so they can put it on Xbox live or what ever. This is not what the magority wanted, and you can argue all day and night, because if they gave us what we wanted we would be in preCU right now.

Rant over. No I dont care about my sentence structure in this post.

You just suck now... You have nothing but a bad attitude anymore... and nobody here cares.

It would appear you care. You can support this nerf all you like, but there is one point you cant defend : 90% of players will be Jedi. There will be no crafters. There will be no entertainers.

I'm keeping my weaponsmith/armorsmith/artisan.. so don't say NO crafters.

Just none that will make credits since there is no decay.

Maj - Jedi Knight

Vyper - Master Armor/Master Weapon/Master Artisan

Even your loyalty will be tested...Why wasted a character slot/account ?

I do have to admit,I'veloved the crafting since the day I did my first Hologrind for Architect. (WAY back when)

It was never about the credits, it was about having the ability to make the best damn stuff for myself and my friends. I made credits on the side, sure. but not like other crafter whos sole intent was to make credit after credit after credit.

So there's a good chance, I won't drop it. It's my Jedi's Alt.

It seems like granting elder status to newb jedi on Nov 14th and not newb Jedi on Nov 15th is gonna cause alot of hard feelings. People who get within hours of unlocking padawan but can't until the 15th are already bitter about that. And the Jedi who were cheated out of Knight trials are already bitter about being "elevated" to a status that any hybrid can get now as well. At least make there some base requirement to distinguish padawans from veteran jedi, otherwise I don't think anyone's gonna enjoy these "perks". Who can really start off padawan and instantly be shot up to full status and really say they enjoy that?

My Jedi alt is a crafter too, but I seriously doubt she will be after this.

Im going to post this over and over again.

The problem is that new players want EXACLTY what the old have. New players think that upon that fist hour of playing they have the right to have access to the riches and what everyone else has. They call old jedi whiners and such. Well, most criminals think this way. they want what everyone else wants and by any means goes and gets it. Thats the way i see it. Its basically jealousy.

They dont have what you want, and want it, if you say you deserve it because of the time put into it, they hate you for it and tell you to shut up.

WHy, because its not THEM who has put the time in. Its the I want it now, or now gen of people. Plain and simple.

Thing is, LA and SOE allows it because theyre scared maybe that it will imbalance things..well hell, look at the state of jedi as it was. In EVERY game ive ever played rpg or console, the more you got done the more powerful you were. Plain and simple. If youve just started, you have to work you way up. Bottom line. SOE wants it easier for some reason. And were talking Teletubbies easier....Plus, with no frs, were STILL at f*cking square one. And yes, it is going to be jedi wars. Plain and simple. Bounty hunters (and i really feel for them) dont have jedi bountys to hunt anymore so i dont blame them for going to jedi now. And them with everyone else. But thats beside the point. People want what you

I think that is a good idea. To require the jedi skillpoints to determine the elder status for the 'jedi' rewards (old Knight Trials Qualified). Afterall, these are the true elders in the jedi profession.

Everyone else should get the other rewards "which I think is what is happening anyways."

All have to grind a Jedi from scratch.

Regardless when they did it, we all did it.

I know people who got their jedi unlocked in 2 weeks back last summer. I know people who spent eleven or more months grinding a jedi post cu.

Some people just claim they deserve more, but have really no good argument why they are better than everybody else.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

11 months for me from my first Holo to complete template Jedi Knight.

22 professions. (6 months)

I'm not against how anyone got there jedi, be it holo grind or village grind. I really don't care, a jedi is a jedi. But veteran should be justthat, a VETERAN. They should make some sort of time limit on who is givin veteran, or hell at least make it jedi who are CL80 when the new system hits. That is just my opinion and it seems the opinion of most of the jedi, except the non veterans.

From Dictionary.com, for those of you that are unsure what a VETERAN is...

vet·er·an

adj.

  1. Having had long experience or practice: a veteran actor.

Okay..its sort of like...someone with an associate degree or bachelors, going for a job, but gets placed in a job with someone who has a high school education, no experience.

And in MOST games, the more you play, the more skills you get..

Money paid to attain a goal. Fact is we all paid. Some of us have been paying ALOT longer than others.

I'm sure some people feel cheated that all that hard work and all the time and money spent to get somewhere, only to have it opened up to "anyone" that's been in the game for a few days.

I don't feel that way, but I probably should. I won't voice anything one way or the other until the conversion happens.

Until then, I'll hope SOE and Lucasarts planned ahead for us vets more than they are letting on. (and I know I shouldn't)
