People spam damage hits now just as much as they did pre-CU. The only difference is thatyou hit 2 buttons instead of one, now. Whenever you want to do damage in a game like this, you pour it on with your most damaging hit. The CU just added pretty icons (and whether or not they're pretty is debatable) and rotary timers. You can make the argument that the introduction of roots, snares, mezzes and so forth added more depth to combat, but it didn't change anything that led to 'dervish spamming'. When you wanted to do damage pre-CU, you used dervish. Now, you alternate head hit and leg hit, or saber hit with head hit (depending on how much LS you have) and occasionally throw in a power attack.Things haven't reallychanged.
I kinda miss the pre-CU jedi system also, and it has nothing to do with wanting to be "uber". It just felt much more unique than what we have now, and it was faster. I have enough time to take a nap while playing post-CU combat, even with speed buffs.

Hmmm The Sad days of being an MBH/Master Scout.. Being Restricted to deal with 80% Saberblock as a ranged BH... So long ago... Im actually glad that the CU Has balanced Ranged Combat...

Yeah ive done the same. Trying to get +50 speed (25melee/25 LS) on just gloves, hat and belt.Lol been busy on my tailor trying to match theperfect colors to match the light robes,

I miss the speed. Post cu is like Jedi on Valium. I'm sure they could have "balanced" things without makign things so gawd aweful slow.
