Yes you can.

Also force infuse and force heal will work on droids. I dont know if that is a bug or working as intended.

yes you can use droids and just like the pesky Bh who use them they really dont hurt but bother you all the time, guess if you arent careful they might sting even more, so go for it and do the same to them

Healing a droid with Bacta Spray (area heal) is NOT an exploit. It may be a bug. CSR's have ruled on this many times.

Just because there's a bug you can't expect a player to not use a healing type when they're fighting jedi. CM's have 3 heal types. One ranged, one area, one single. The ranged one roots you. During combat with a jedi you're down to two with nice cooldown timers. You can't really be saying BH with significant healing capabilities should limit themselves to only one type of healing.

As for Jedi with droids, of course you can use them. Ask a good DE they do help. The damage does add up especially if the BH or Jedi are clueless (many on both sides). I'd probably fall out of my chair with laughter if a jedi pulled a bomb droid from inventory and unleashed it on me -- note this can be done while in combat -- Otherwise go with Advanced R3's with one combat/one armor/the rest auto repair. Why not have the BH scrambling to target it droid. Shootmany use auto targeting macro's on the jedi and will be wasting time dumping that (and their db macro with it). Can't be a bad move but could be annoying you to manage when not fighting a BH.

Im starting to think a pet might be a better alternative to a droid.

Firstly they do kinetic damage which as mentioned before most Bh are not set up for.

secondly I found out today that pet stims have no mind cost or timer so can be spammed at will.

lastly you could get a friendly Ch to train a level 10 pet with some nice specials intimidate for example

I am going to get my alt who is MBE/CH to train my jedi's Vactaryl (sp)or maybe even aBEcat depending on which moves fastest.
