This is the best Jedi post I have ever seen in the history of this entire forum.
As a Jedi on Radiant who has contemplated a template for the last week, I can say this is exactly every single idea I have thought of that would stand a chance in this game. He's covered it all, pretty much.
Way to go dude.
BTW I've decided the path of Master Lightsaber / Master Defender / 4004 Healer. Personally I can see Jedi tanking anything and everything in the game with this template and owning it. In PvP there's two problems though.
1. You don't have Force Run to run if you have to. Then again, you have enough healing and defense to keep you alive, unless you get group ganked.
2. Your Force Regen is the same as any double-master profession, but like my homeboy Havelock said, even at Knight you plow through your Force Bar pretty quick. This template doesn't have Force Channel so when you lose out on your force, you're done, unless you have Holocrons to heal it up or maybe another Jedi to transfer you some.
The most important thing I've realized though in this game for Jedi is you can't PvP by yourself unless you're running around ganking the n00b overts or the overts who are just logging in from being overt the night before. Otherwise don't attempt to PvP without a Master Doctor, or without another Jedi. Two Jedi who compliment each other's template is a beautiful thing.
Ever see a MLS / Master Defender and a MLS / Master Healer own a Krayt in under 3 minutes? I have.

Agreed, awesome post. A quick question on how the FS powers fit into these templates. Many players are going to be trying to figure out what FSboxes to take post Patch 10 (myself included). Since all jedi have to have at least 24 FS boxes to move on, all are all your templates built using 226 skill pts and less? DoesFS Melee Defence/Accuracy/Speed get cancelled out by the LS Master? I have some free unlocks and I am trying to figure out what to take. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Terrin

Im thinking of a template which is the following
MLS (obviously)
4204 healer (heal states, all HAM and wounds for those mind fire pikeman
)
3004 Defender (some melee defense, not sure if it helps vs LSs, and state defense, so im not healing states al day long)
0004 enhancer ( channel force, force drain, transfer force, good stuff)
im looking for some honest opinions! how would this do in pve? i assume well since its MLS, i was thinking of also getting animal scare so i could solo krayts
How would this do in pvp? i hear drain force is a **edit** in pvp...but i dunno, havent had to fight a jedi yet...thanks in advance
