You don't use any force power grinding to Novice sabers as you don't have any specials so you won't get the message.

i just unlocked my jedi today, and was very excited to craft a saber...the first thing i did was tune a crystal, then construct a saber. now i can tune another crystal, i tried going back to meditate and restart, but it does not giv m the option.can anyone help?

You don't need to be at a shrine to tune a crystal. Right-click on your crystal and select "tune crystal"

i did, but it says i dont have enough force points, and i tuned the crystal over a hour ago

sorry i meant i cant tune another crystal, to get through the next phase of the quest. its tellin me i dont have enough force points

Yeah you need more force so the robe will help. 
Edit: Oh wait nevermind...are you a padawan yet?

yeah the robe is +10 to regen or somthing like that...takes forever to regen without it...i believe a color crystal is 100 force cost

no im not paddy yet, dont think i can make a robe, is there any way to regen the force pool?

you get the robe at the completion of the paddy trials...with that said your really not gonna need another training saber...your next one will be a first gen you craft after grinding the xp for the novice sabers block

Your supposed to tune a color crystals, which takes 0 force, you cant tune damage crystals intill your padawan
