Sairnath, i do see your point but i also dont see it as a priority either. Forgive me in advance if i will sound a bit harsh on this:
You have unlocked and made the first step. You will find your Jedi way much easier than others.
Others who simplyhate the idea ofgrindingabout 30+ professions that they dont want or need yet they are doing them, mastering them, spending ENDLESS hours in front of a computer screen, hoping that once they master "this" or "that" proffesion they will have the much desirable "unlock". This is pure torture and YOU currently are not going through it. You re in the safe side. And since you are there, youdont have muchof a right to be demanding at this point. Regardless if you went through the same pain or not, you have UNLOCKED and have one lessproblem on your head.
Think about others who simply dont want or dont have the time or the luxury to grind through 30+ professionsin order to unlock, yet they WANT to become a jedi so bad. And people like you, who have either unlocked or are a Jedi already, dont give a single damn about them. Yet THEY represent the majority of the players in the game.
And since they are the majority, they are also a priority. IMO always.

rofl, that's funny.
As you can read, he said he did infact "unlock" after pub9, meaning he's in limbo like most of the other people. anyone that didn't grind out professions to unlock and is going to have go to through the new quest is SOL. far as i'm concerned, they didn't want to waste time before or couldn't, why should they be handed what everyone else worked VERY hard for?
Right now for all we know is that, by unlocking we spared ourself 1 step out of the big quest adventure, and are probably falling into another unseen trap. which may or may not be worse than what we just came out of, as for anyone else well they get to start from square one...nothing you can do about it. publish10 IS about the people that got screwed out of their slot and are currently waiting, as well as the people who have waited for these so called "quest to FS".
People that are currently grinding and working for it like me, on my 31st and 32nd professions, we either unlock or we get kicked in the ass with the new quest we don't know, but i know for one thing i'm not stopping my grind until i see my message.
And i assume by your regged date that you are just now new to the game right?
The people who don't truely care about publish10 are the people who had their jedi long before it, anyone after publish9 is a majority i'd say, since there is a good lot of them.
If someone new wants to be a jedi as badly as someone else did/does they'd better work for it, if they couldn't handle grinding the 30 + professions they arent ready to be a jedi because that grind is far worse than any other profession will ever be.
"People who unlocked after Publish 9 are a minority &they are happpy having their jedi or the option to be one" as for that line, anyone after publish9 doesn't have a Jedi, and can only say they are FS.. (maybe), we don't quite know what is going on, and that makes anyone in that bracket a priority. Alot of angry people have been held off from their prize for over a month for "no reason" at all. They don't have time to care about the "new" people to the quest to becoming a jedi, thats not their job, the only care on their minds is if they are getting their Jedi or not or If they should cancel their account because they waited a month to jump through another hoop and be royaly reemed.
Edit: Oh yeah i almost forgot, the people that did unlock after pub9 between pub10 might have just gotten dropped into another brain killing grind..its not hop and skip off to Jedi. until we/they get info the begining of the FS won't truely matter to us. Only thing i can truely say on it is, that i hope its as hard as grinding all 32 professions......time wise....difficulity wise....whatever.

We dont have a right in demanding at this point? what kind of bs is that? A majority of us has gone through 30+ professions, and what do we get for it? a pat on the back and a 1 month wait for something we worked for?
We have EVERY right to be demanding to get out characters. If you WANT to become a jedi so bad then you would have made time to put in the work to get it, rather than wait till pub10 and ask for a handicap.
You say its pure torture to go through the grind, well guess what.. the ppl unlocking between pub9-10 went through that torture too, and have yet got anything to show for it.

My main concern here is for those off us with 20+ professions already ground out. I beleive i read those hard grinders unlucky enough to not unlock would be given some sort off credit towards FS slots, so somone like me on 20+ professions woudnt then have to start from scratch. Iam concerned because now Iam reading there is some random guy that has to appraoch you and how u get him to appraoch you is unknown similiar to the feel we all had when noone knew how to become a jedi in the first place.
I pray that those who have been grinding are rewarded somhow for there work. If i have ground 28 professions to only find out I havnt done the one uknown thing to get this bugger to appraoch me and I have to start from FS slot 1 ill probably drop my account.

The new system will take longer, and all those quest do'ers wont have the privlege of learning 1st-hand the "in's and out's" of the classes they will face as a Jedi.

OK, the "stranger" is currently approaching Jedi and certain non-jedi on TC.
The second visit of the stranger appears bugged (Double spawns, and asks for the crystal back that the first stranger gave, but there is no converse option and drag n drop did not work for me).
Current Jedi are just as banned from the village as everyone else (personal theory: we were advanced by "skipping" that part of the quest, so we qualify to start it, and indeed have to should we want to see the village. Hopefully that will change, I don't want to have to unlock again to spend my 250th skill point on an extra FS skill).
*Holocrons appear to work as one-use force power regenerators*
I tested one early after the publish hit, but I was virtually full on force, so I'm not sure how much it regens. I'm currently working on the trials, so I might very well need a regen, so I'll find out more

As far as what happens to the people who unlocked between publish 9 and 10 the devs said that those people will start as jedi padawan after publish 10. This was said as publish 9 was going live.

They never said Padawan. They said as Jedi. I am willing to bet it is as a Jedi Iniate. Remember JustG's post regarding the village as being the path from Iniate to Padawan and how they left it be mysterious from normal to Force Sensitive. They were debating wether or not for it to be mysterious. They haven't answered that question yet. My theory in an image:
