Honestly, I don't know what all the fuss is about.

What's so horrible about playing thru 10 more levels in a brand new game, with a brand new advancement system?! I'm actually looking forward to it. Even if it turns out to be mainly killing-type quests, the combat in the new system goes much faster than it does in the current system.

I guess I just don't see the reason why "not" to do it. I mean, all of us who are finished template Jedi are obviously gluttons for punishment when it comes to grinding and playing the game. We pretty much HAVE to have been, in order to get where we are. What's a little more gonna hurt you? If the answer is "I've already done all my grinding. I don't wanna do anymore", then I sorta guess I have to wonder "So, if not playing, killing mobs, doing quests, what do you WANT to do in this game?"

If you didn't care about whether it would be sticky, then why's it in the post title, and with extra replies asking for it to be stickied? Anywho...

soe/la decides what is deserved. right now, that seems to be...

Being a pre-NGE customer means you DESERVE an elder title/bonus.
Being a pre-NGE Jedi means you DESERVE blue glowie and bonus jedi equipment.
Being a pre-NGE CL80 means you DESERVE CL80 in whatever NGE profession you choose.

I personally have no issues with any of it.

From everything I've read the new system depends more on Missions and Quest Content for Leveling

They leave the option open to grind but it is the slower path. I can't track down the post I read this on.

But these 10 Additional Level may give you opertunity to adjust to the new game and gain Quest Rewards.

Cause your going to miss out on all the CL1-80 Rewards. You probably don't want to miss out on the CL80-90

Oh ya, that's just common sense. The only problem is: what is 'full template' ? The Jedi with 2 mastery's and 2 full trees (mls/meh/hlr 4040) has grinded significantly more xp than the dabbler with mls/def 4440/hlr 4000/enh 3002, although they will both still be cl 80 and no sp left, or close to no sp.

Should the dabbler also respec to a full mastery (cl 90) of the Jedi skills just as the double master should? I dunno, since I'm mls/meh/hlr 4040, I guess I think that only 'actual' full template Jedi (ALL sp used on Jedi skills, 0 left) should be able to respec to cl 90. I mean if someone hasn't truly finished the Jedi grind, then why should they all the sudden get to be truly fully templated for free? I mean ya gotta admit, alot of ppl dont go double mastery because they just want to use all their sp, and not have to grind as much.

But at any rate, yes,current full template Jedi (whatever that is determined to be) should be respec'd to cl 90 Jedi in the new system, and non-jedi that respec to Jedi shouldat least have to grind a little bit.

Ok Im back from work, lets keep this post going till we get some changes. And as far as what a full template is, I didnt think I would have to spell taht out: Every skill point in FS and Jedi unless your template is dabbled in such a way that u can train no other skils, another good measurement is no other skills except jedi and FS and your CL 80.

i would be ok with becoming lvl 90 on teh respec, as long as we could still do the quests or get the rewards.
