I don't think he did. looks more like a Hey look, we looted the dang thing. It really is out there. Your turn to go find it. What would telling everyone accomplish aside from 500 people camping the spot.

Highly Doubt got it from sher kar because you need to find all the pieces to enter sher kar dungeon, and they arent easy finds.

I'm pretty sure anyone with a full template Jedi takes their playtime pretty serious.
