and i dont beleive negative exp ever being rid of by SOE after a few months. no reports of it have been made. no major discussions or posts on it, and none of my pre pub 9 jedi seem to laugh at that idea. a guilde had -900k a few weeks after he unlocked, 16 publishes later he still has -900k exp, hes played his 4 alts since then and only recently begun regridning jedi after i convinced him tis actually alot funner than ppl make it out to b

Dude I know this happened because I was 3.2 million in the hole and they chopped it to -1 million. I was doing the vette alot for guildies to finish the Dark sideKnight trialsand finished template so negative xp /shrug who cares. Plus, then we had the CU coming with free respec's...people were farming thier own Jedi's and it was very lucrative....yes indeed it was

Everyone /tip their hat to Frag99, as in the space of five mins if you look at his post times he has managed to search for and pick missions with similar stats, launch a arakyd droid, go to the planet, launch a seeker droid, identify the Jedi target .... Oh , and do this four times ... in the space of five minutes ... ? I dont think so. Someone who him the door

LOL, You don't read well do you. Many of us in the BH community have done extensive experimentation on this. I didn't do this 5 minutes ago.....been at it off and on since the nameless patch came in

BTW, my Jedi makes me part of this community as well. I have to tell you all the crying in here really make me partial to my BH alt lol.

Maybee he is a BH who uses gank gangs and trying to prevent the nerf
Personally I have seen this happen 5 times so far most have been 2 man gangs and there was one 3 man
I have also seen a 2 man group hit the same person twice within 30 min, I really dont think that is coincidence.

As for a fix all they have to do is when one BH takes the mission it removes the jedi off the terms till that missions is completed or failed

LOL go ahead DEVs nerf it some more....YOU GUYS DON'T GET IT...there is nothing more to nerf, its been nerfed. The fact that your not having constant runs of5 BH gank sqauds should clue you fellas in already.

Besides do you think that DEV's will waste time reading this flamethread...NO! I am simply trying to get you guys to see reason and failing...

I will never give up though /shrug....

There IS a method to doing this - at least on Intrepid - ive seen teams of BH go after multiple targets together in the same day - so Frag - youre wrong - i dont know how its done - but i am CERTAIN that it is. Ive seen the same group of 2 BH attack three separate guildies in the same day within 30 min of each other.

Yes it has been done and still is being done. There is a trick exploit that they can all grab the same Jedi over and over and all serach for that Jedi. It has been tested and works 100% of the time. Leave it to jerks to always find the loophole.

I can tell you from experience that getting the same Jedi target is very easy and not hard to do. I am currently full template Jedi but was a master Bh before hand. Taking into consideration that half of the posts on this forum are from BH I am not about to post it and inform those who dont already know how to do it. Let us hope that Devs will one day get their finger out

This total urban legend and with all due respect your friggin lying. IT IS NOT SYSTEMATIC, THERE IS NO SYSTEM TO ALLOW BHS TO GET THE SAME MISSION. YOUR CLAIM IS PURE BUNK. YOUR NOT POSTING HOW TO DO, IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO DO IT.

Proof that your lying: Baicca ( Jedi Correspondent ) keeps asking for how this is done, no one has told him how....you know why because no one knows. Please just stop the insanity.

Fact 1: You can be hunted by multiple BH's, it is not an exploit it is by design. This is unusaul because of the coordination it requires.

Fact 2: Those BH's have only 1 method of getting that same mission. Go ID the Jedi with a droid. If he does not match your fellow BH....drop the mission and try again. It could take anywhere from 5 minutes to NEVER to get the a mission on the same Jedi.

Fact 3: There are BH groups out there with the discipline and time willing to go through this time consuming process in order to get a group attack on you. Who can blame them they stand nearly no chance alone against a full template.

You know what lol, I just realized something. Keep crying that BH's have a way to do this....since its impossible, the only benefit you will be getting is the DEVs may waste time chasing a non-existant bug instead of working on new Jedi nerfs. I guess that maybe worth something

Sorry to dispute you, but I know for a fact it is possible.

I tested it myself with my ALT, and got a random mission, but I wrote down all the mission info: Jedi Faction/payout amount/mission giver/mission descrption... then tracked the Jedi. Once I got the name of the jedi, I wrote his name next to the description. I dropped the mission, went back to the Terms, look for the SAME mission info, the same faction/payout/mission giver/description... andfound it. tracked it, and it led me to the SAME Jedi.

So now, if I see that Jedi, I can look at my list of mission details, and see his mission info, and track him down again.

Ok I have done this same exact experiment on multiple occasions. Heres the result:

First time: Jedi A

Second time: Jedi B

Third time: Jedi A

Forth time: Jedi C

Conclusion, no true method here...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Also does not help because a guildmate has h*ll finding the same info on a misison you have and it does not gaurentee that it will be Jedi B.

You guys just don't get it, the BH community has been hunting for a method since the patch. If it existed trust me on this NO ONE would keep it secret I know if any of the 5 BHs in my guild had it we would be 5 BH ganking you instantly

Message Edited by Frag99 on 10-12-2005 03:35 PM

even if it were known to everybody, not everybody would use the method, some bh actually like the one on one encounters, if u want to take a friend then ur cleary not undersanding the concept the devs have decided to put in. it was intended for a one on one encounter

No it wasn't my friend, it was met to prevent full template Jedi from farming themselves for cash. I know people who did it After all every few months SOE sees fit to whipe people negative xp slate clean...its was a real nice payday with little or no harm to characters that would soon be respec'd..

Then again maybe you fellas missed that particular angle .....ROFL WAKE UP

Ok, Mr. Baghdad Bob... I got you figured out. There is a term we use in the military for what your posts are doing, it's called "Psychological Warfare".... where you blatantly try to hide your arsenal by denying it exists....Even if it means to make up absolute ridiculous statements to try to pass as facts, such as "After all every few months SOE sees fit to whipe people negative xp slate clean.".... that's utter BS... I have been Jedi for a year, and I have never had my -xp whiped. Only ONCE have I even heard of that, and that wasover a year ago.

We saw a prime example of this in recent years. Remember the guy on TV saying "There are NO Americans in Iraq!! None. I repeat, there are NO Americans in Iraq!" as a convoy of Hummers and Abrams tanks rolled by in the background? That was "psychological warfare."

Seriously, it's natural you want to deny its existance, Once you have something good, you don't want it taken away. Understandable. But this constant effort to deny it only shows how desperate you are to keep it hidden.

Of course he cried that only one BH should be able to attack him at a time.... apparantly1/2 theJedi in here don't even understand that multipleBH's are ALLOWED/ENCOURAGED to hunt you atonce. /sarcasmOff

There is no method...no one knows it BECAUSE IT DOES NOT EXIST.

You guys are just nuts to keep asking for nerfs....

Mr. Jedi says "Please, Mr. Dev make it so only 1 BH can hunt us at a time..."

Mr. Dev replies "Sure, lets see...nerf MLS, Defender, Enhancer, Powers is bad enough already..lets just get rid of cloak, Healer....its good to. That should do it now your equal to the BH hunting you. There you go Mr. Jedi your all set that should make you fat, dumb, and happy "

KEEP IT GUYS, keep calling for only 1 BH mission on you and your going to get "exactly" what your asking for lol

your example is more accurately described as "propaganda". that announcer was attempting tomisleadhis own people to maintain control over them.

"psychological warfare" involves attacking your enemy's mental stability and morale.

Dude you are a riot. There is an easy trick that does not take that long. We dontpost it because it gets deleted. I dont need NUKES on my account for getting things I post deletted. I play LEGIT. We dont post the method also because you people will suck them up and use them. It hit the BH boards like wildifre and there were tons of thread deletions.

I am in favor of adding names to the terms, leaving the payout hidden like it is, and restricting it to 1 BH per mission.

PDPoc

13 months to unlock Jedi $194.87
6 months to become "Full temp" $87.96

Having SOE take it all away in a single patch...Priceless

Ok, this is how it is done. And just so you know, i was in the NS cave. BH came for me as i exited it. I killed the bh. got on my swoop and headed back to the Science Outpost. By the time I got there (about 5 minutes), the SAME bh had cloned, got my mission and returned to Science.

Your payout, your descriiption and the "character name" posting your reward, ALLWAYS stays the same after it is issued. Now, I don't know for sure if it changes after your death. Until these items are randomly assigned each time the BH terminal window are refreshed, it will not be random. The only reason we don't get a lot of gank squads..."no bragging" rights if you can't do it alone.

No /shakesheadSadly, this is not true. If you do this enough times you will find out, more then 1/2 the time you will geta different Jedi. I know I have done it. Sometimes you get the same one...this proves nothing other then there are not an infinite number of random combinations...its certainly no gaurentee AND

THERE IS NO SINGLE SIGNATURE FOR A GIVEN JEDI....THE SIGNATURES (a combo or Giver, Description, and Price) YOU GUYS KEEP TALKING ABOUT ARE NOT UNIQUE TO ANY 1 JEDI. WHICH MEANS YOU CAN NOT SIMPLY PULL A PERSONS MISSION GIVEN THIS SO CALLED SIGNATURE. ALSO, THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSSIBLE SIGNATURES FOR ANY GIVEN JEDI. I have pulled the same jedi with 2 totally different combinations of these items. Any BH that has done much hunting at all will tell you this.

A second BH looking for a match to all this information almost never gets the same Jedi.....when they do its simply chance not some supersecret uber Jedi pwning gank method lol.

PM me all you BS methods, I will tell you whether we tested them or not....clearly you people are simply restating crap that others posted on the forums about this...untest crap.

BTW the deleted posts that you folks are citing as evidence are not....the reason why is simple:

Posting exploits is not allowed by forum moderators....MODERATORS DON'T KNOW FOR SURE IF A POSTED EXPLOIT IS REAL OR BS, SO MODERATORS DELETE THESE POSTS JUST IN CASE!

secondly,

JEDI TROLL THE BH FORUMS ( AND MANY OF YOU HAVE BHs JUST LIKE I HAVE JEDI ) THESE JEDI REPORT EVERY THREAD WHICH MAY HAVE AN EXPLOIT THAT COULD BE USED AGAINST THEM!

This means the fact that posts are deleted proves nothing about the validity of the method. The method may work and may not...post gets deleted either way.

/agree

There just might be a way, I won't give any hints but lets just say it is quite possible for more than 1 hunter to pull your mission, confirmed. As any earlier poster stated I myself do alsoenjoy the challenge of 2 bouny hunters at times but anymore than that is a little much with all this "balance" I'm suffering from.
