I don't think I could function without Force Speed 2 as a powers user

QFE
Its nearly mandatory if you want to have a prayer in PvP. Without it, the zipbars kill ya (they still gimp ya, even with it...)

has anyone tried a MPowers/MLS template for a pure offensive powerhouse? Just wondering how it turned out.

Lightning and Improved Lightning.
I am master powers, and my icon doesnt show Improved, only normal. Is the game actually using my Improved version and simply listing a grammatical error or is it borked and using my lower level attack?

Use ctrl A and choose improved lightning from your attacks and replace it in your tool bar just to be sure.

check your abilities/skills (control+a)window. does it show you have the improved lightning? if so, did you ever copy that icon to your toolbar? yes, the icon is the same for both regular and improved, but if the icon in your toolbar just says lightning, then you probably have not moved the new ability to your toolbar.

All buttons do is call the ability command. Since all variations of the same attack have the same command (ie. lightning, improved lightning etc) then no matter what your button says you'll use the highest version of that attack you have.

a jedi buddy dueled me and he was MP
he told me he used weaken, intimidate, choke then saber hits
the saber hits were over 600 back to back being default attacks
question is if this is due to weaken or not? hope it is cause sounds good to have...

I believe the description of Weaken says "Makes opponent more vulnerable to attack"...so it must lower there resistence some how....so yeah it makes sense that you may do more damage.
The intimidate just reduces your damage against him.
I was using weaken in combination with my friend using armor break and he said that having me there helped him kill them faster. Had to have been Weaken, because only otherskill i used was damage moves and roots and snares.

Nop, None of those.. Weaken snares your oponent for a very short period of time... It works like force wave from enhancer But it lasts less.
