Thread: Is this what jedi are becoming????
If you don't want to deal with bounty hunters then definetly do not duel in major cities.

Jedi have almost always been, for the most part,a paranoid, and fanatical bunch.
The resaon for the behavior is simple, if you consider the gameplay they are subjected to for months of grinding, always looking over thier shoulder.
You'd be paranoid, distrusting, resentful, and downright psycho too.
Don't hate the players, hate the game, or at least the devs who designed this wacky system in the first place.
Exactly.
Give the player a grind that is 35 times longer than mastering a full standard template (as an ADDITION to this template), make this grind subject to severe losses through game mechanics, give the power over XP loss to a PLAYER class, then wonder why there is hostility, paranoia and just plain animosity. Seems to be a calculated outcome in my opinion.
If it was not supposed to lead to this, why not make the jedi XP loss NPC related?
Oh, and you're only paranoid if no one is out to get you. LOL
I got killed at bazaar today while in the midst of changing clothes...didnt realize till i was stasis'd.
lame.

Jedi are worried about bounty hunters but they duel each other out in the open. They'd rather use an exploit (/duel to determine if a BH is after you is an exploit) than try and play by the rules.

It is quite literally, through your average game play, impossible to remain off the terminals.
When i was a newb padawan i had one kunga get within 30m of me and i got a bh, visability is a once ya got even a tiny bit your on the terms.
It's also kinda funny, i remeber bh's using a /duel exploit which prevented jedi from doing ANY thing, perhaps i should search for your posts advocating fixing that
.

Until no bh exploits it'd be best for you to shut that hole in the front of your face you call a mouth when your about to poke other classes for doing it.
If i were to say all bh's where retarded a$$holes and base it off your posts alone one would have to agree, but luckily you aren't the only bh in game.
I've had jedi tell me differently and low level jedi seem to stay off the terminals these days. I have not had a low level (less than 200k) mark in weeks.
I think a simple fix to it would be to give xp debt back to jedi upon PvE death and remove it from BH death.

BS. I haven't bought into the 'product of your environment' theory regarding people in real life. I certainly don't buy into it in a damn game. People are given choices in life as they are in this game. You make a certain choice, you deal with the consequences, especially knowing what the parameters are for living within that choice beforehand.

depends a bit, but im a member of a rebel guild, our city is a rebel stronghold, we ban most imps on sight.
In my case I was a rebel and banned from a rebel city. The funny thing is that I was onlyscouting out remote cities on Dant for my Jedi, as I'd heard that GVT missions were good. I basically did most of my grind on wild lairs in the outermost edges of Endor.
I was only trying out some missions on my alt, to asertain the potential for getting visibility on my Jedi in that location. In retrospect maybe I should have spoken to him, but it was kind of strange seeing someone following me at a distance, maybe it was my own Jedi paranoia that had manifested itselfon my alt, that made me see if I could break free from his following. ![]()
