Thread: An idea to reduce the hate in the game...

Population control? How would that control the population of jedi?!? lol What a stupid idea. For one. Jedi have just as much right to be in NPC cities as the rest of the players. So what if jedi are fighting in a NPC city. BFD You can either stand there and watch or leave. Thats your choice. Dont punish a player for doing what they want to do. Jedi or otherwise.
Absolutely correct!! Don't punish Bounty Hunters for doing what they want to do!
Great idea. This system is garbage now. Too much arrogance and hatred on both sides of the conflict. I think it is time we just burried it. It is a workaround against the TOS, in essence legalized griefing, one profession attacking another for the sole purpose (in many cases) of disrupting their time in game. Your idea of NPCs taking over the hunting is spot on. You could use the same spawning system as the Sith Shadows for force sensitive, only make it, say, the Emperor's Royal Guards, maybe an Inquisitor or two, a couple of other cool looking MOBs, all at ridiculously high levels. That would be too cool.
It even makes sense from a storyline point of view. Bounty Hunters are supposed to be the scum of the galaxy, and the Empire almost never associates itself with their kind unless it is a truly desperate situation. Since when would Vader hand out contracts to kill Jedi to some mercenary off the street? He would do it himself, or send some of his most trusted assassins to carry out the job for him.
Mr. Correspondent, if you're reading this thread, please shoot this out to the DEVs, it would solve so many problems....
royal guards...no....inquisitors...yes
the emperor's guardsare guards...when not serving as guards, they are rotated into elite stormtrooper units to stay sharp...but they are not offensive in nature
inquisitors on the other hand are tasked with all kinds of high level tasks of an offensive nature

I guess if you dont have skills suprise can be pretty important...but the real players know better
Grr...not true. Skills are one thing, being a MBH/MP/CM4000 is another. A jedi with a decent saber can just plain outdamage my heals. So...you hit them when they are less able to respond
ok, guess I was a bit harsh...you picked a template more for form then function, and as long as you have fun, whatever works
