Thread: Question for vet knight guardian jedis
I have a Knight, plus a padawan I unlocked over a month ago. Both have very different paths to being full temp, but I enjoy playing them both. Hopefully in another month I'll have him fully templated. So yes, I have started over at square one, and have enjoyed every minute of it. ![]()
The big picture? The path is more fun than the destination, IMHO. Enjoy the hunts and spin groups. Enjoy the angst you get when you've almost completed your first tier 4 skill. Enjoy the cameraderie with other Jedi who have finished their own templates, but still work to help you finish yours. Enjoy helping young players when you finish your template. Enjoy PVP. Bounty hunters will come after you. Sometimes you will lose, but if you persevere you will become stronger andmore cleverin the next fight. Enjoy making friendships with people in other guilds, and enjoy supporting a guild you belong to. Be a good fighter and fun companion, and people will seek you out to do quests together. Make friends with other good fighters and fun companions. People like that together have ten times the fun. Do not denegrate the CL10 noobs who want to join your high-level groups, but don't feel obligated to invite them. It is no slander to say they are a drain on any group, since they will not contribute much, and will aggro every creature on the planet. However, take the opportunity to host a low-level player on occasion to encourage them. They will appreciate it. Be vocal on the forums and post your concerns, complaints, criticisms, and especially compliments. Join the league of beta-testers. Tip entertainers generously. Don't rely on expansions for content because they only provide new circumstances and differentlandscapes. People are the true content in any game. Everyone is different, with their good points and bad points, somesore winners and some good losers.Butpeoplealways offer something a game mechanic cannot - character. Observe everything. No matter what is going on around you, there is something to learn from it. Bring classiness to the game and prove you are indeed a Jedi.
That's pretty much the Big Picture, at least for me. I hope it doesn't sound too much like a Baz Luhrmann song.![]()
Knowing what I know now woul I have ground out 30 professions and spent the countless hours grinding? Probably not, although I never did it to be uber. I was lucky enough to be in FRS about a week before they pulled the plug. Ended up with 2k FRS in less than a week, no FC, and that was learning about the system and what it was like to be overt 24/7.
Never thought I would but I miss the FRS mainly because it at least gave me a reason to overt up. Not much point in it now, unless an RP role cals for it, or incase we decide to go on a Base takedown spree.
So if I was starting now, I would get my free unlock and that would be the end of it more than likely
