well, if I understood what you ment.. I didnt mean for other people to get it.. I hope its that you can change/get it in theforce shrine or do a quest from there. Not a NPC that says "You arent trained in the ways of the force, you cannot help me" Or something like that, it will simply make people hate us more.

That saddens me.
They will, we get something they dont... then again, we cant use their profession specific stuff that they will probably get in the new expansion, but we dont hate them
I study taht short clip over and over....
1) it looks like anikin's robes..which can easily be mistaken for the old FRS dark Jedi Robes.
2) It was verified by .... Tiggs or TH... not long ago that ther WIILL be new robes but no details on appeance and function
3) 5 new robes has long been asked for ... but ... don't be too dissapointed if its only one... anakin's... maybe something like you find his old robes or some such...*shrugs* I didn't make it into the beta so I have no idea...
4) yes TH out right said FRS is not part of Trials expansion in any shape or form.. but nicely vague enough that the also said there is no ETA on FRS and/or prem pearls...
MY opinion is that .. disregard all the negative people and I think we ae really close to FRS returning now.. like the trials of obi-wan is a primmer for the story line they will use ...
I also think the new FRS will be non PvP required ...cause the old system failed so badly.
I think it will be all quest driven ... simular to pilot or some such ...
These are just my own personal opinions and/or Ideas ...im just a player. I pay my $15/mo and have been in game for over a year and a half and am basing my GUESS on what ive seen the game dircetion develop thus far.. and current trends in teh DEv team...
and actually I hope it is this way cause Id love to see a peer mentoring quest driven system

i really dont want anakins tired old robes. they need to come out with something different for a change. not that rehash crap. I would think for dark jedi.all black but with a small lining of red. and no, dark jedi robes arent supposed to be the exact opposite dark brown like it is in swg. thats swg. but there does need to be a general identifier for dark jedi and diffrent users of the force in a sense (jedi type not force sensitives).
And as far as people hating us. too friggin bad. I actually like the mbh vs jedi hate. i totally enjoy it. for some reason that threat makes it much more fun. i wont wimper out and run. i worked hard to get to this point not to let some bh take it away or stop me. but i like it. that whole kumbyaya carebear stuff has to go. i dont want that. plus, it is a war in the gcw, and jedi vs dark jedi are also at war. where does carebears fit in? be neutral.
I hope the frs is PVP based. there have been waay too many pvp based discussions that are all good.
So why pvp? cuz sorry pve jedi in time EVRYONE will be a master. that cant happen. pve is easy and time consuming. but attainable. you dont need skill or resource management, timing, or any reall preparation for pve. pfft . pve is mindless. easy. get a walkthru and youre good. no real challenge. and most people dont know how to respond to an advesary that has an almost near infinite amount choices (humans). Most are used to the console. ps2 xbox NOT online. its easy to master in time. A human is the ultimate competition. Thats what i like. you really are skillfull if you can defeat many people who know as much as you do. That is the competition i relish. not that pve crap. hehe. sorry, but if jedi this far is so easy to get, make frs pvp based. and you got to kill real pcs to get where you want to go.
And again, pve WILL NOT WORK. eventually youll get everyone as a master. and then more complaining. also, there arent supposed to be all those masters around. If sony sees their fault, it will be hard to get master, and it wont be pve based. Its sad, cuz the same people also want to get rid of mbhs hunting them.

If it were a minority of Jedi that did these things, we'd have much less hate, but its not. There is an overabundance of it.

They hate because of the constant calls for nerfing, the attitude, the 'you're just jealous' crap answers and 'we're more important' BS that has been associated and that people consistantly display here on this forum and ingame. If it were a minority of Jedi that did these things, we'd have much less hate, but its not. There is an overabundance of it.
Most people seem to be Jedi or are grinding to be a Jedi these days anyway.
All everyone seems to complain about is how many Jedi there are now, so I presume most people are Jedi or want to be one.
Once they become Jedi they will naturally (its a human thing) try their hardest to make what skills they have the best and call for nerfs on classes or skills they don't have that they feel are more powerful.
If they dont get their own way, they will regrind another template in the never ending search for the best template with the most useful skills.

Just because he's wearing a robe, doesnt mean he/she is a Knight.
Its been explicitly stated that the FRS was NOT apart of the TOOW.
Having said that, it is possible, however unlikely that:
TH et,al are throwing us curveballs (i.e. - bold faced lying) about the FRS and its relation to TOOW.
The FRS could be coming out on the same day/publish for TOOW, but it isnt apart of the TOOW download.
Depends on how much a conspiracy theorist you are....
Im not sure on TC.... Ill have to ask a TC person to confirm like Red-Dwarf
but Im sure TC frs is also disabled
ABout the Jedi FRS and a bunch of ppl pve'ing to master.... your right about that I agree, and on some level agree with you also on the points you made about PvP
But a few thigs I base my opinion on is not only what Id like to see... its what Im seeing the game evolve too. Look at the histroy of develpoment and the trends on what is happening.
Of coarse it may very well be a mix. I could see the Dark side Jedi having to go kill numerous other people and fight each otehr as well as fight Light Jedi. Tats very star wars like.
But you also have to consider that there is a rather lrage population of players that are Light side Jedi .....not to be carebears ....but to roleplay the way Jedi are in the movies..
That was alot of quests .. reaserch ... assisting and protecting others... and helpig each other... thats not being a carebear thast being a Light side Jedi.
I hope they make a sorta of master /padawan system...
I hope there is jedi content like missions and rewards...
I yes I do hope to Pvp Vs dark Jedi....
Do i think we should be forced to PvP Dark Jedi... no! will I if given a system DEFINATLY!!!

But I don't think it should be mandatory and FOrced... you want people to enjoy themselves ... and that means doing stuff on many levels for all the different styles of play
Am I a carebear Jedi... maybe ... will I pvp if optional ...oh yeah .... do i think it should force all jedi too.... nope...
I am a Light side Jedi... I protect the weaker classes ,and help the padawans learn ther skills they need to survive... if i were perma aggro'd to all Dark Jedi would I attack or run.... Id rush into battle....not to be better then them ... not for glory or prestige... not for personal gain in ranking... Id do it too protect the young padawan's Im helping grind.....
call me what you want ... it will not change me or my beliefs.. I will play and act the way I do FRS ...no FRS.. pvp or no pvp...BH or no BH.... Im still here and still haveing a great time in the SW world I love... if you don't like what I say.... I respect that but also ... don't care if you like it .... iI don't play to impress other I play to have fun
