Yes I have a job.. and if my supervisor made a dumb decision and it took away from the work I did, you bet I would be in my boss' face. People depend on my line of work, and if I am not there for those people because of a decision that my boss made... I would quit. I have pride in my job.
ya rrrrright
you would risk a very lucrative money making job take food out of your childrens mouth risk not paying your bills? Man are you even inhabiting the planet earth?

wow, forums are on fire!
One thing we all need to realize is, its not the devs that we need to voice our concerns towards. Its the management. The devs are the artists aka worker bees. The management are the queen bees. Think of things that way and logic dictates that its not the devs we should be upset with, its the management. Even Garva has a boss that approves content. I am one of many that are sick to death of the "kiddies" blaming devs for problems/bugs lack of this or that. Next time you want to rant at devs from SWG, maybe break out your emailer and start emailing management types that control the devs at SWG/SOE. Everyone has a boss, and the devs are no exception. Maybe it will be then, that something gets done. I have played the game since launch and am a huge "Star Wars" fan. The game "could" still be great. Maybe if the management types actually played the game and maybe if the management types were even star wars fans this game would get the attn it deserves. Anyways i am getting off point. my point is in the title of this thread and explanation herein.
So.......
STOP BLAMING DEVELOPERS....ITS NOT THEIR FAULT......
THINK BEFORE YOU POST
that is all.....
I think this forum has every right to be on fire,I mean look at the big nerf bat weve been thrown for some time now, How come garva hasnt posted on any other profession forum about conduct?SOE has made the huge mistake and let to many player unlock and now this is there sloppy way of cleaning their mess.

cant you see it for what it really is? Its all marketing dood....just take a minute and think about it. All i am saying is if your gonna vent on the boards, do it at the right ppl, stop picking on the devs, its really quite ridiculous. I never for one minute thought , nor do I believe, no one has a right to rant and the boards should not be on fire. All I am saying is be educated in your blaming process.
Here is something to remember when you want to place blame ......"follow the money, at the top you will find your answers"
want to send a serious message?
want to hit them where they live?
If I get told by mymanager to install a toaster in a bath, and the toaster fails to work because I wired the plug wrong- then that is MY responsibility as the workman who installed the toaster. The fact that it's been put in the bath, a clearly rediculous decision, is the fault of my MANAGER, not me, I'm just following orders.
So,it is DIRECTLY the fault of the development team when (to mention one of a thousand things) Cpt. Sarguillo stands with his face in the wall of a hut so when you try and converse you get no reply. That is a BUG and it is the development teams programmers responsibility that it occurred, and their responsibility to correct it. (Thanks by the way to CSR-ShaneK who came in game and sorted us out last night on Tempest when this happened!)
The content, and the way the skills and nerfing etc are going I do agree is NOT the fault of the DEVS, that is the management being too short sighted to realise that they are alienating their customer base in the changes they make. New players are always good for a game, but not when those new players 3 moths down the line realise that kiilling 3 billion pikets is just too much of a price to pay to get a diminishing skill with nerf after nerf on an almost weekly basis.

while you have a valid point.
Its apples and oranges.
to many factors to list on why the two situations are completly different.
however here is one:
if your manager had to approve your work and did, then it would be his fault, such as the way of life in a corporate structure. Its all checks and balances, its the management that has the end say.
