What missions were that? I thought only NPCs dropped crystals and they don't spawn from a lair... Or do you mean you didnt destroy the base, went to the next one and when you got back there were new NPC's guarding the base?

No worries. I don't.

I just can't believe that I can even solo these beast. Pre-CU being a MBH, I couldn't solo jack. Now it's like taking candy from a baby.

Hrm..the only way I can solo a grand or ancient is if the AI gets bugged and it doesn't get up after iI KD it from 80m

I'm a MBH/MRM with 3 trees of FS skills. When I go against them, I alternate between KD and Snare and kite the heck out of them. My first Ancient that I have killed, I didn't even get hit once. To be honest, the only time I died to a Krayt Post-CU was when I wasn't paying attention to my radar and ran into another Krayt. Real quick trip to the cloner.

My template is MBH/MRM/2000 CM (Will be 4000 eventually) and when I try to Kite them I end up losing them to retreat before I can kill them. (again unless they get bugged) I've killed a couple solo but generally its a lot of work for nothing

Sorry to hear that, bro. I usually scout the area to find a route that I can go in a circle so the retreat thing won't happen. But like I said. Sometimes a Krayt will spawn on top of me or I won't pay attention and run into them. Then I am toast. But that does suck that u don't get anything from them.

TBH I'm far more concerned about the latter. I don't mind getting a good group together and hunting krayts but doing so all night and coming up empty is just depressing

Oh well..I did loot one crystal from the Corsairs tonight though it took an hour to get it.

Go to corsair POI on Lok i loot at least 5 in 30min to an hour

The quality of those crystals is usually not as good as the mission ones. I've done that too. The last night I was there it was overrun with Kimos

Are the crystals that drop from the corsair missions good or quality?
