i say skill at the bottom and template on top because certain templates need to be played PERFECTLY to win against others. you can have all the skill you want but certain templates just are weak. while other templates dont need to be played perfectly but at the same time are very effective.
i say weapon in the middle because whatever your template is, whatever skill you have, if you have a saber thats something like 500 MAX then whatever you do is like fighting with a handicap.

from my observation of the game pre cu to post cu. pre cu was all about offense, and some healing. post cu is all about defense and healing. Healing is even more key in post cu duels/pvp.
id say:
50% template
30% skill
20% crystals/pearls

nobody factoring in latency ?
the faster you talk to the server surely has an advantage yes ?

..mmm have u guys noticed that everyone that says skill is the most important or that crystal are the less important .... are ...pre cu.=P just look at the registered date ( i know some are gonna say that has nothing to do of when i unlock jedi.. but its the most possible thing that they are ) ive been in this game since april 2004 .... and i think that crystal are the most important.... in 1 vs 1 they are after temp ofcourse....who are we kidding....

i think its 90% mental 26 \% physical
but for real
60% skill (if you cant use the temp you got you are a idiot)
30% temp (again, any good player can make the right temp work)
10% crystals (hey it helps to have a decent saber,mine is 610 dps so im happy)

oh didnt catch this one. i was one of the first jedi on my server but i never did anything unitll a few months BEFORE the curb. i had like 2000 enhance with 0044 LS, whenthe cu went live i grinded more now im almost a full temp and i didnt have a pre cu saber

I say mostly skill because the ppl i know who have had there jedi for a while beat the pants out of post CU or the newer jedi. its fact. or to be more specific, its a known statistic. its also psychological too i think, at least for me it is. if i see an overt jedi running towards me and i know hes a post-CU jedi. there is just no way he can or im going to allow him to beat me. call it arrogance but its the truth , and thats how most jedi who been around for a while think. that confidence ini tself often times is enough to pull of sure victory.
