I think you are on to something. Yes, you were very direct in your feelings, but I can't flame you for expressing yourself. You didn't just blabber nonsense like some.

What people don't realize is the hypothesis you have presented was supported by your data, not 100% confirmed, but definitely supported.

I have long given up on anything but a satirical approach to this game.

I realize the time you "invest" in this game should be looked at like this...are you having fun NOW, not...if I keep grinding I will have fun some day...cuz that day will never come. Again, are you having fun now. If not, change your goals and perspective on the game. If you are still not having fun...well....

I tuned 2 goods last night. Pearls. One was 67 -5 and the other was 95 -5 and both had -.17 to speed

I have long held to the theory that tunes only reveal the stats assigned to a pearl/crystal when it is generated as loot after the death of the mob. The tune isnt the roll for stats...the roll is done when the loot drops.

The worst part of the CU for me was having 4 perfect pearls turn to crap after. The best after the CU was 84 damage...,the rest actually had basically the same damage mod as before the CU one turning to 48 max one to 55 one 67 and one 84. Talk about a kick in the junk...

"I have turned the same crystals on Live as on test Center, and so have others, when their server was copied to test, since it is a database copy, and if stats are at loot time, then those should be transfered in the database. Except it isn't, You can throw 3 crystals/pearls in a bag, let them sit there until your server is copied to test center. Now log on test, and tune them, Now log on Live and tune the same exact ones. You will see you get totally different tunes. This leads me to believe that tuning stats are generated at time on tuning."

Perhaps...I have little confidence in an SOE database copy...waaaay to many problems have I seen in the past with things being different between the live and test resulting in entirely different results to all sorts of things ie. weapons having different stats on test than live etc. All I am certain of regarding pearls/crystals is that i have tuned 8 premiums since the CURB and none have been under 112 damage max, however the fc hasnt been -9 on any of them -5 to -8 no -9's at all. Frankly it should just be said "post CURB jedi are going to continue to be less capable in terms of damage output for some time to come...maybe for good" it sucks but i believe this is the case.
