you should be able to hit 44.50 at least on the crafting stations (from way back when there was a perfect crafting day) and 15.00 tools, this is doubly more so now that the inspiration buffs add to the resource quality.

try to get your hands on a +25 saber exp suit (borrow from guild/friends or whatever), that extra 4 pts might help.

play around with crappy resources to find the best way to experiment (e.g. all into efficiency, then top it off with one pt, then into damage etc) before using premium resources.

get buffed. i heard WS buffs apply to jedi as well.

using all that i managed to make a "perfect" saber hilt, on my server that translates to 250max 95SAC.

I checked out the crafting stations the other day. What is the exact name of the crafting stations taht you guys use? Just the "General Crafting Station" right? I could "examine" these, but i didn't see anything that said how good of a station it was (ie: 43.00 or 45.00 station). So how do you tell how good the station is?

Hey Soulcaster, the best thing you could do is take your alt and turn him into a crafter for a while. This is not a flame, it would help with your saber crafting and give you a bunch of knowledge along the way. Just a thought and suggestion, not a flame. By craftign for a while you will have a better idea of what all these people are talking about.

Research Center
12 pt suit, +21 total
+24 exp food
+15 assem food *i think its 15
43.00 weapon crafting machine
14.55 LS tool

Is there something im missing? Any help appreciated.

Cant see you have listed a Weaponsmith buff. Get a entertainer buff! you have to speak with a present entertainer (master musican or master dancer i think) and have them select the weaponsmith buff for your, while you are listening to their performance. The buff should give like 15% to assembly and experimentation, including 2% resource buff.

When you got all that, all you can do is be patient and start the crafting. I spent like 78 hours in effectlive time!! before I got a saber I could accept.. So all I can say is.. you HAVE to be patient. And with a little luck you might get all your amazing successes. You can however get a fantastic saber with only a few amazing successes too! So dont be blind!

Tbh. I still wonder from time to time, if it was really worth all the money and the time I spent getting this saber. Because the difference between my 2 amazing/2 great success saber and 4 amazing success saber where not that large at all!

Good Luck!

I know what she said. Have you tested weaponsmith buff for crafting a saber? Only thing that works is artisan buff for crafting ls tool kit.The 2% bonus to resources and most likely the craftingbonus don't work. And funny thing is no one cares that it doesn't work. Everyone complained cause we weren't gonna get the bonus. Tiggs came out and said we would but we still don't have it and no one cares.

on some servers it "appears" as if the buff doesnt work but that is a resource issue - let me explain

when you assemble an item the quality of resources and the level of crafting success you get comtribute to the base % you start with on the weapons stats

eg on corbantis you get (from memory)

27% damage

29% efficiency

28% speed

better efficiency as eff uses slightly diff stat requirements than speed etc - and the higher the starting % the higher you can experiment up to.

29% is perfect - you cant get higher - but there is a fairly wide window of possible stats to geta given %- for example

upgrading your polymer from 967 to 976 OQ prob wont make any diff as it wont be enough to push your assemble to the next % and reap the rewards of it

so the 2% resource buff is a small effect which will only sometimes push you up to the next % - for example it would push a 900 OQ resource up to effectively 918 - not a huge gain

the buff also improves your chances of experimenting well though which for a non crafting master is very helpful. Personally as a FS crafting master i almost allways get amazings on my saber experiments - but i lose a little incombat as i dont have the melle acc/def/speed lines

I'm aware of all that(except for your example of polymer 967 OQ would be converted to 986 not 976). On my server the assembled ls and experimentaion cap is as follows:

dmg. 27% 94%

eff. 28% 96%

sp. 28% 96%

With my resources and a 2% weaponsmith resource buff the experimentaion cap should go up in atleast one category by 1%. In fact no stats on the saber change at all. Not even an increase of .01 speed during the final experimentation process.

Cond w/buff OQ w/ buff

titan. Alum 406/408=408 986/1000=1000

dura. steel 644/650=650 931/1000 =949.62

poly. copp 941/1000 =959.82982/1000 =1000

cul. inert952/1000 =971.04

polymer1000/1000 =1000

I'm gonna run more tests on lower quality resources.

yeah test it with lower resources - you have to be lucky to get an increase with only a 2% resource buff. for example as a MWS i found that out of 50 weapons i tested i only got an increase in assembly stats on 6 of them - and no increase in assembly stats means no increase in final stats - it jumps up in levels so you wont see any increase in any stat on the assembly until you jump up 1% on assembly
