Dont know, but with my + 15 speed Ca and +20 force speed, i was outdamaging 2 other jedi hitting the same mob as me. Looked like i was hitting way faster

Seems to me like it's still borked. I'm MLS with a 1.62 mod speed saber and I'm still having 4-5 sec delays between attacks just using saber hit. So no, it doesn't look like it's fixed to me.

not that people actually care about real tests... Iposted a while ago tests that showed that saber speed has infact never been broken and has been working all along. The test results were pretty conclusive, still people whine about "I don't feel it works..." and everyone chooses to believe in the rumours instead of how it REALLY works.

I'd really like to read that... can you give me an idea of the data? Or even the title so I can search for it? Thanks!

I think that's funny that you have "conclusive proof" that saber speed and mods aren't broken when the devs have stated its a known issue.

I have done several tests with different base saber speeds, and they all showed the same thing, more speed mod gavefaster swing time.

The first of the tests I posted here

the essentials of it was: +17 in mod => 3 s swing time

+87 in mod => 2.1 s swing time

Really?Im a0423Sab & 3002Enhwith a crap saber. Running force speed and chaining Hit/Strike (by hand, no macros) will have me landing hits every 2 sec about 4 of 5 shots, with the 5th on one second.

They have stated the something is a known issue. But what exactly it is that they know is very unknown

dont test that on mustafar, youll hit every 3-4 seconds with the lag on that planet.

I wonder if lag is the problem...?

People look at their modified saber speed and they are falling short (in some cases well short). Perhaps a high PING will account for the shortfall - in which case SWG is like any FPS where "PING is king"...

lag in swg is actually only a problem in short timescales. Your commands are still queued up and when they go through to the server they are generally all accounted for. Example:

I'm in mass PvP and have huge lag. I hit leghit then headhit then bodyhit. Because of the lag nothing seems to happen. After it resolves howeverthe combat spam will show me hitting all 3 specials very fast. So over the short time scale of 1 or 2 attacks, it may seem like my attacks are very slow, but during a large time scale of, say 10 seconds, it all evens out

Note: for this to work you need to keep pressing your right attack buttonswith the correct timing, which can be difficult to pull off some times, since lag prevents you from getting any visual feedback.

You know lag could very well be the problem, ive noticed in creatures attacking me many times that their damage is delayed from their attacks. example was last night on mustafar i was fighting something and for a bit there it didnt hit me then suddenly hit me like 3-4 times real fast, well that was the damage numbers popping up and chopping my health down fast. and ive noticed this with my damage too i can mash the keys and not hit things for a few seconds then suddenly i see 4-5 numbers over the target like ihit it 5 times in 2 seconds.

Jedi to the death of SWG.

Helper. Just ask.
