If your using xxxxSab/MDef with healing, channel or cloakand expecting MDef to keep you safe, yeah your going to have a hell of a time against them. The problem that template has is that a CMs main weapon bypasses your defense 100% and 0004Piskeeps you from escaping.You can't cloak, you can'trun away from the root & ED, you can't out heal them, and you can't just tought it out.
If you added 2000 or 3000Enh to your template you'll be in a far better position to deal with them. The force speed will help to counter their Thyroid Rupture, and you'll have a root of your own.
The best weapon against a CMis to talk to a Chef (or their vendor) about surviving Fire, Poision, Disease, Bleed & ED. They have foods & drinks that act as powerful weaopns against the CMs arsenal of nasties. With the foodshelping you againstyou the DOTs, with the ability to negate ED and offset the Thyroid Rupture, with the ability to counter-root the CM, the fight looks a whole lot better. You may still need to run from the better BHs with quality armor,a full set of high power enhancers and skills to match, but at least you have taken their "I win" button away from them.

whine thread number 101doesnt makethis statement more true then number 1.
there are situations where some might loose. there are templates where some might loose. but most templates do ok against this one.
now if you consider jedi, you will still c that every jedi template can hold up against it as long as you have force. now most of the skilled jedi will win the fight during those 20 - 30 minutes because the bh does a mistake, or they can bring the bh into a situation that has enough advantages for them (water, house, etc)
if you do too many mistakes, go delete your jedi char and start playing a bh. you might learn something of it.

The new Rancor Aid drink makes it difficult for us now also, but a good BH can still find a way to overcome them. If the jedi has the ability to stay with me as I try to kite, I'm forced to heal more rather than shoot. Thats why RA makes such a huge difference in the fights.
