Both are buff crystals
Light Crystal (Retaliation)is250 health, reflects incoming damage, reposte melee attacks (?), increases mind regen, and 75 to defense.
The dark side crystal increases damage, speed, and action regen. Not sure what else since I dont have it to turn it on.
You can use it every 15 min, and it lasts for about 2

Highlight for what I really think:
It seems to me that the light side crystal has a defensive role and does in fact counteract the dark side crystal perfectly, but it doesn't work the other way around at all. Doing more damage just means that you will do more damage to yourself.
I know it was asked before but it was not answered, I don't think.
CAN A LIGHT JEDI USE THE DARK CRYSTAL AND CAN A DARK JEDI USE THE LIGHT CRYSTAL?

Dont belive it matters..It all depends on how you choose to end the mission. Either you can be good and destroy the crystal, or be bad and try to use it yourself.
