if it was only one person i would stay and fight. but when 5 people come after a new jedi no thanks. i'd rather run and not waste all my time grinding the xp back up

Hello,

brand new to Jedi with only 4 boxes in LS completed. Question is, can you add krayt tissues to a lightsaber for improvement, and if so, how do you do so?

thanks a bunch

no sorry man, krayt tissue, first of all, is only for some ranged weapons. In order to increase saber stats, you need to do the following:

  • Acquire all of the best resources ever spawned on your server. Note: You'll need additional resources for your 3rd and 4th gen saber. (this list can be found within the first 2 pages of this forum, and resource list is found in FAQ somewhere).

  • 2nd is to craft in a research center (provides bonus)

  • Use Experimentation food (increases assembly, successes)

  • Use a 45. weapon crafting station (better results)

  • Use a 14+ Lightsaber crafting tool

  • Be Master Lightsaber for full experimentation in saber. If not, pick up some boxes in techniques in order to get experimentation points.

  • And last but not least, Acquire better pearls/crystals in order to have a better saber. (tuning is random except that the upper tier of jedi loot have a chance at tunning better than the lower).

Again this is a rough idea, check a FAQ for more detailed info. The food thing isn't confirmedI believe, some say it works some say it doesn't, I don't care i'll keep using it. Having an anti-deacy kit is really handy if you can get your hands on one, but read up on that before dropping that onto your saber. Hope this gives you some idea.

oh andI think that some of the force sensitive branches in crafting might have a result in crafting the saber. Not too sure though, best of luck

Okay i know the title will probably make most of you folks not look at this but.... i have read the guides on vis and everything else.... great info my question is more abo8ut template options... Now i want to play for fun not just stack the best skills to become a pvper.... My question is has anyone tested master powers in PvE and PvP?

The template i want is master saber, master powers, and healer 4-0-0-4...Is this viable for anything other than waving my glowstick to impress noobs? Would appreciate any advice/information ya have on master powers

I am also going to go master powers cause I think it looks really fun and most people that have it say its really cool. The biggest problem with powers is that it is not all that viable in pvp against other jedi so if you are planning on entering the FRS it is not the best option. Not saying that its wrong or bad, just that there are better templetes to use for someone that will be permaovert, doing pvp all the time. Most people say master powers is awesome in pve. There are people that say it is cool in pvp too though, its all in how you play it. You have to know what you are doing I guess. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that if you do go for master powers and master saber, you will have a powerful offensive templete, but it will leave you with very little skill points for healing and defense. Try reading over this thread, it may help a little bit.

Oh, one more thing. A lot of people are speculating that powers will become much more effective in the CU. That of course is only speculation since no one knows at this point, but its something to think about.

clicky

The way i c it, alot of ppl want a good pvp template which i can understand but i just wanna have fun.

If i get panel beaten everyday with my final template then so be it. Ive only picked up skills that i think will help me have a good time.
