I agree, it will let focus on one thing, instead of everything, and in return youll have a much larger force pool

Not anymore. The CU made dabbling certain trees much more friendly. I myself only have Master Defender and I can fight off a 5vs1 BH attack, solo krayts *AND* am a major asset when hunting Dark Jedi Masters.... I've never needed two masters yet, and I won't need it in the future assuming the devs don't make drastic changes.

sunday night i was ls x142, was working up 2 handed to go for mls,i also have defnder 2xxx,enhancer xxx2, novice pwoers and healer.i had soloed all that exp since the cu, and sunday i couldnt take the solitude any longer and decided to risk group grinding, id have to say i loved it, but as usual a bh came for me within an hr, snared me( can that b spammed so i can never get up?) and continued to shoot me until i was incapped 3 times, i lost 220k, which brought my exp down to -70k, i talked to a friend afterwards and i decided to use my last respec to get force run so im now ls xx4x, enhancer 2xx2, healer 1xxx , noivce powers and the same defnder, i just want to know what does mls give me besides the state attacks from one handed, which can easily get that branch, i know it says that if my accuracy is higher than the defense i get a damage bonus, but does mls give more acccuracy than a master defender? and what real advantages are to having mls? since we now can have a maximum of 45 ls block, whats the point? i am going to get force aura for sure, but i dont want to grind all thsi stuff it is unnessecary, id really like to get some skills in powers, but my current template i have plans for doesnt have any extra for it and im afraid i might b the first person with a screwed up template, im going for as of now, mls, defnder 4x4x, healer 4xx4, enhancer 4xx2, i beleve thats all the skill points.

anybody know if this is good?

I have MLS and will be keeping it. I havent come to a final decision on my template after that but I know with MLS I can do more damage. And Im not talking DPS type damage Im talking damage from a variatey of specials. I dont have to wait for my two most powerful specials to cool down ( Improved Head Hit and Improved Power Attack for the popular 0404 LS templates ) I can sweep and imediately have 4 specials ready to inflict damage and not have to wait on a cool down

you cannot solo a djk npc tho?

get it down to 100 ham and run out of force?

It's *possible.* I've heard of other Jedi doing it, but I myself have never been able to solo one. I spam AI as many times as I can and use an all speed experimented saber to deal as much damage as possible, and my force just drains too fast. Hey if you know a technique, PM me.

Now EnderStarfall has a point... one of the advantages of MLS is the variety of moves. There *are* times where I wish I had some area attacks, and having bleeding moves would help in the overall damage process...

However, to me those are just luxuries you can live without. 2h armor break is an effective tool if you're the solo type. You don't really NEED more than that.

you run out of force 1 on 1 vs a djm npc

Eh, not really. When we hunt these things we're always together in a skilled group who knows their roll and what to do. Because I don't have to focus so much on damage as I do tanking, I rarely run out of force spaming AI. Now if I WERE to try to solo those things, then yeah I'd probably run out more than once... never tried them on my own though.

the most important thing about jedi should be force pool

the most important is action pool then force pool.

the more force you have the longer you will last - if you are taking mdef then the more force you have the better.

well hopefully they make some changes soon, because I have to say Master Defender is overpowered, and before anyone flames me for saying such, let me just say this, if youve seen episode III you know there is no way in hell any padawan could do so much. If padawans could be "master defenders" I dont think Anakin wouldve been able tokill em all.
