Thread: New Jedi Rewards for Killing a BH?
Punishment...lol...
If the Empire had not risen, then the Jedi would still be the keepers of peace.
The dark Jedi confuse the issue a bit...about all I canfigure is thatbothlight and dark Jediare hunted because the Emperor is worried about them coming after him and trying to take the throne.
When the FRS returns, there is no hiding. You will be aggro'd by opposing faction NPCs and you will PvP. The game does not use bounties as a way of punishing players...it uses bountiesto add risk to the reward for choosing a challenging profession. It also uses bounties to add to the atmosphere and to create what can be a really fun profession...the Bounty Hunter.
I am tired of people talking about BHs like they are the police of the game. They are not. Should Jedi show off in public? Probably not...it isn't very Jedi like. But, regardless of visibility, the Emperor is trying to track them down and kill them.
It would be cool if you could join him...but that would definitely confuse things even more.
So...let Jedi be rewarded for killing the bounty hunters. Just not in any way significant enough to lead to exploits...lol...if that is possible...

how bout this.... a role reversal... jedi can track down any bh that has hunted players for a weekend and lets see how much the mbhs like being attacked and losing money or even exp, and watch the bhs complain, should give them a taste of there own medicine

"Jedi" is the REWARD!!!!!!
"Bounty Hunter" is a Profession Skill Set, and Just because you have it, doesn't mean you have to go around hunting people all the time.
"Taking PC-Jedi Missions" is a Career, and a very bad way to make ________ (Credits or Friends, Assuming You dont have any). Defeating the Jedi, getting the "Investigation XP, and Credit Reward" is also part of the experience, "Looting Memorabileia" in-game is just water on an already watered down experience.

When we signed up to be Jedi, we knew this was part of the game. The BH didn't choose their profession to be ganked by us. So, really, we are tasting our own medicine for choosing to be Jedi.
That being said, I would love an Order 99 weekend where all BHs are TEF'd for two days...
