Thread: Are you guys still worried about FC?

Depends on template, I have a Mpower buddy who goes through force like drinking water, while I'm MLS/MDEF and only run low on force if I spam AOE attacks.


MDEF in particular isn't very heavy on force use at all, and combined with a high damage saber, fewer hits to kill means less force used

yeh i hate seeing jedi get nerfed like this but not just all jedi all you new guys. i was just fortunate enough to have capped damage and 4 capped fc pearls as well. they really do need to fix the drops or the tuning whichever it is that they are considering screwed up either way with 30 fc saber it isnt fair for us to have that extra bar to worry about when we have lower damage output, they should have kept saber damage as saber not energy. then give minimal saber def in armor or put it into the bh prof.

it was pretty evident and a hot topic immediately after the CU. Prior to the CU I remember noticing the difference between -10 and -9.


if you do a search im sure you'll find some hard data.

I have 2 sabers I use, my grind 14 FC 586 max mod speed1.34 97sac, and 115 sac 698 max 33FC 1.56 mod speed. I mainly use the grind saber as it keeps my force bar up longer and helps me last longer with BH and multiple mobs. If I know it will be a fast fight and I don't haev to worry about a BH coming my damage saber comes out. I do have 2 other saber one is 555 24 fc and 605 37fc. Unless you channel a lot go with lower fc. Just my 2 cents. Switch your pearls around and see what happens when you mix them up, watch force cost, mod speed, and damge, see if you can get decent damage at low fc and good speed.

Be careful... remember when Tiggs and Thunderheart acknowledged the pearl drop problem with premium / flawless? Look what came out of that one. *Can't fix it.. so you screw you guys

The thing about Force Cost in the CU is thata lot of the saber attacks have a built in force cost to even use them. So if you get your saber FC below that built in cost it makes no difference. For instance. I had a -9 FC saber after the CU went live and then switched pearls and crystals out to get more damage and my saber ended up being -19 FC. I can honestly say that I see no difference in force consumption between -9 and -19, the damage difference however is very noticable.
