I also would have been happy to never have Jedi if I could have recieved a second character slot for my 2 year reward instead of a fireplace.

There is no peace, there is anger.
There is no fear, there is power.
There is no death, there is immortality.
There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side. I am the Heart of Darkness.
I know no fear, but rather I instil it in my enemies. I am the destroyer of worlds.
I know the power of the Dark Side. I am the fire of hate.
All the Universe bows before me, I pledge myself to the Darkness.
For I have found true life, in the death of the light.

good for you. I dont. I worked bloody hard to be have a Jedi!

YOU are NOT a JEDI!

lol

If he's talking about while the game is turned on and he's logged in, why not?

This is an "rpg", afterall. As long as he realizes that he's not a Jedi when he leaves his desk, I don't have a problem with what he said. Hell, if he wants to be a crazy and walk around trying to /choke people all day, who am I to judge

I think a few people have some serious over-identification issues with thier game character. I'm no psychologist, but I'm pretty sure that's not too psychologically healthy.

But hey, if someone wants to think they are a "real" Jedi, whatever.

lol, becuase I still think it's funny.

“I think George has always seen movie making and video games to be very closely related…..he cares about telling stories, and these are two different mediums in which you might tell a story”

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

only thing I would give up my jedi for is a pre-cu server

Yep I would do anything to start with 250 credits, a mejor melon, and a cdef pistol (on a pre-cu server, not the current servers). Including giving up my jedi. As for the original poster I have also learned to dislike my jedi. I rarely play him anymore because not only is my other toon more viable, he is more fun, doesn't worry about BH's, and isn't hated by the community. I should just be quiet pre-cu servers will never come back.

If you delete your jedi, you'll lose the second slot. Your alt character will take the main slot and you'll no longer be able to make a new char unless you get to pady on your (new) main.

Oh and one more thing. Have you guys ever seen those sigs that are lines of text and look like they are a part of the post?

exactly what I was saying, which is why there is no point to deleting him. Why not just have him sit there? No reason to delete him if I am just gonna have one toon, my jedi isn't causing any trouble. I would just prefer 2 normal toons for the price of one.

Really? Hm. I'll have to talk with my friend. He deleted his Jedi and was able to keep his second character just fine.

Depends if your jedi is your main toon, or your alt toon(so pre pub9, or post pub9) because pre pub9 jedi were alts, where as post pub 9 jedi is the main, so if you deleted it, you would technically no longer have jedi and could not open up another character.

I don't really like jedi anymore, and if I could keep my free alt and drop my FS boxes I would gladly do so. I think if they wanted to lessen the jedi population they should make this an option. Just a thought from a guy who think the jedi profession sucks and will never get better, but still enjoys the game.

I would NEVER EVER give up jedi!

I would rather loose my right arm and my left food before loosing my jedi character!
