I am not saying everything is going to be ok... in fact I will be the first to admit that there will be things that will suck. However, it makes no sense to panic about cahnges that we don't even know will happen. Sure we can all make speculations about what the devs have planned with this "easy and risk free" concept, but the bottom line is that we don't know. There is no use complaining about what might happen.

BTW I don't understand how you can dicount everything the devs say as lies but then use those same things to justify your arguments.

Ok... lets think about this calmly and logically and not let our fear of change turn us into an irrational mobSith, like the other professions.

1. we don't know anything about the new system except what the devs have said and since we all know that they are not 100% reliable we can rule out that info. There we know nothing and everything you are complaining about is irrelevent and speculation.

2. We won't have any reliable info till it starts coming in from TC and even that can change before it goes live.

3. Since we have no factual and reliable information, speculating about what could happen in the future is nothing more than focusing on one of infinite possibilities.

4. We don't have a choice. There is nothing we can do to stop any of this from happening (reference the CU protests). All we can do is adapt or play another game. Regardless of which choice you make, whining about it now is not going to help anyone.

Check out Kettemoor's Ace Listing, send a tell to pretty much anyone on that list and they can hook you up with some practice or assistance getting Ace.

Since 1 and 2 are now the same except 2 will be more fun and look much better, you only have to pay for 2!

Ah ok. Yeah, I agree with that. I'm waiting to see what will differentiate these games. With all they already have been in with the persistent worlds, crafting, etc I think they CAN make a great game that offers a different experience. Wether they do so succesfully we'll have to see.

However, I will be waiting around to see.

On the other hand, you can always cancel and come back later. And this isn't a 'if you don't like it leave' post. Some of the players I know are doing that. That way you can see where the game goes without having to pay the subscription in the mean time.

I am sure there will be those that do. However, the only thing we can do is wait and see what happens. The uproar so far has been the same as before the CU and yet we have not only stuck around but adapted and had quite a bit of fun in the process. The devs say it will be fun the testers say it is fun and they could all be lieing to us but I doubt it. Sure it was shady at best that they waited till a day after ToOW went live to anounce the change, but that doesn't change the fact that most of us have already paid for this month so it will hurt nothing to keep an open mind and experience the change first hand before deciding if it is the death of the game or not.

Well, I think everyone kind of forgets that an MMORPG is Multiplayer..... if they want to grind by themselves, not interact..then the game may not be for them. yes the missions are fun and so forth... but part of the appeal of an MMORPG is having the interaction with other people you would never have the chance to meet (or if you are unlucky meet a complete cakehole.)

These multiplayer games are what you make of them. The rules/combat systems can actually be beign and secondary to the experience you create out of it. I'm hoping to actually try to do some actual roleplaying soon on Kette, (if anyone is interested lemme know! I'd love to know how to start that out) and try to hang out with the guildie friends I've made thus far and make new ones.

We have no idea what its gonna be like until it comes out. Why waste respecs for cancelling when you might actually enjoy it? I'm gonna keep with it until I get the "You beat the game!" message

Actually that is a common misconception, that if it is a MMORPG you HAVE to do everything as part of a group. An MMORPG is actually a game which has a large amount of players doing different things that amount to a fuller game experience.
