I find it odd that out of the entire galaxy there are only 2 types of things used in Lighsabers. In Kotor there were many many different materials that could be used with many different effects. In EP 1 Qui gon and Obi had never even been to Tat, so I guess they didnt use Krayt pearls in there sabers... LOL

And the jedi used crystals mined from caves not looted from the corpses of their killing sprees.
And from the same source that brought us the 8 saber masteries table. Sith used crystals that where syntheticaly forged and shaped through meditation and focusing the hatred towards the jedi into them.
Now wouldnt that rock.

Okay I have a silly question.
Okay a Pearl can potentially tune to 120 damage -9fc etc...
I was told that a crystal can only tune to 110 Damage.
Can any one confirm if this is true or false? Has anyone had a crystal tune higher than 110 damage

my best crystal is pre CU of course and is 110 dmg and -8 FC.
Personally I've never tuned one better than that......but then again, it's better then all of the pearls I have too.
