nick, just get out of her immediate range and saber throwor even bust out a rifle and shoot. AI costs a ton of force and you can easily beat her. the snare effect pretty much ended AI in solo pvp. didn't use it much back then for solo, but it was a nice escape tool like force run.

you can kite her and win especially because she doesn't even have force healing.

exactly but my template doesnt have drain force so im able to root, FR about 36m away and wait for AI to go off. shes telling me that if i do that then its not really a duel.

tell her if she uses AI its not a duel.

Counter question. Would it be acceptable for me to use my alt and keep you kd'd and unable to fight until you ended, thusly giving me a duel win by default?

A duel is toe to toe. My personal opinion is that if you go beyond the range of attacks the duel would be over and the person running would have lost. In most cases that would be 64 meters for ranged and 32 for Jedi. But thats just me.

This is yet another reason I find dueling pointless. Why run?

what u talking about this KD thing, because thats not possible. and if u had a jedi and u were fighting a Mdef with AI on, would u stay and take ur beatings? while the other person cant die or worry about mind burn

if i have someone turn on AI, i either....

A. stand and take the beating let there action and mind go to crap

B. spam force drain

works very well

first off there mind doesnt drain and secondly if a person had no drain in there template, would u do what i do and just wait it out?
