dont knock it until youve tried it
I tuned 90 crystals and pearls (all good fair or quality post cu) best tune was a 105 -2
I tuned 4 premo pearls (in the last week) best tune was 119 -9, followed by 118 -9, followed by 104 -8..then a 33 -5 but one bad one is to be expected id say.

I spent some time at the POI picking up fair crystals. 35 tunes later, I had an 85/-4 as the only thing that went into my saber (replacing a 91/-2). Quality DOES matter!

I looted/tuned around 30 kraytpearls so far, all "good". Best so far is 95 -7fc

I just made paddy on Monday. I have saved ever crystal/pearl I have looted since July. In total I had: 25 Fair cystals, 10 Quality crystals, 4 Good crystals, 15 Poor Crystals, 45 Good Pearls, total = 99.

Everything else had damage under 70 and not even worth listing. I did get a bunch of Fair's with like -6, -7 FC but dmg is all way too low. Everyone of my qualites tuned for under 30 dmg! Most of my Good Pearls tuned with 50 dmg or less. I mean come on *shakes head*
So I have a saber thats like 617 max dmg so far with a 35ish FC (with 3 points into eff). Once I get the tech tree I guess I'll have an ok 4th gen but far from great (ok Dmg high FC. So it looks like it is time to grind my Alt up to go pearl farming
I'm not even going to bother with the 111's on dant anymore.....blah!

Hmm, where did you get those poor crytals from? These dont look that bad, I think worth tuning even more of them, maybe have an evenbeter tune.

The poors/fairs drop off all the random spawns of FS NPC on Dant (lvl 60ish), Force Crystal Hunters, Force Mystics, Dark Side npc's, any like that. They drop holo's sometimes too. I just would make a big drive all the way around Dant once a week and kill every FS npc I saw (including the 111's).

Don't go crystal looting, use your brain instead!
Start up a good business and fly over 200-250mil credits.
When and if the good crystal/pearls will come back, open your pocket and your saber will turn fine!
