Not many BHs have everything ADKed. Considering the cost of ADKs, you'd need to have at least 38 mill to get the 3 ADKs for head, chest, pants.

and your point is?..all the BH i know are loaded, from the excellent loot the devs gave them and the bounties they collect so easily

I don't argue with that. PvPing against Jedi doesn't really cause a ton of armor damage, and even if it does, I get a full suit of 7k en resist battle for 250k to 350k (as in, one or two Jedi missions). The slicing isn't very much because I have all the components from NPC loot.

Gosh, it's really hard not to flame you.

1) After the first few days of the new BH loot, loot drops were turned way down. My BH has probably looted about 4 million credits worth of loot in the last 25 missions she's done. NPC BH missions I would say average at least 15 minutes each, so this is more than 6 hours of game play. Not bad, but really no better than killing Krayt, or Nekrosis, or DJK's etc.

2) I belive the max payout for Jedi missions is still 226k, so assuming a 100% success rate, and no expense for food, powerups, travel, spice etc it would take about 120 max payout missions to earn the 38 million you are talking about. And of course they would have to have made these kills without the ADK'd stuff, so they would, in fact, be spending quite a bit of money on armor and weapons and stuff. Not to mention that it would be really hard to kill Jedi without SEA's, and other very expensive equipment.

3) If BH's are collecting your bounty easily, you are doing something wrong.

4) You knew about BH's when you began your mindless double-xp Jedi grind 6 months ago.

I am not sure why BH's even hunt Jedi with the access to the loot they can get off of NPC missions. I may get me a CDEF pistol and if I am attacked use it on them for a while, then run. When they saddle up on their bike, I will blow it out from under them and run some more. Wow, this could be entertaining.

Note: My comment about the loot was not a negative comment. I do not mind that they have access to loot. I just hope that SOE spreads the wealth to all the other professions also.

As a BH, I totally agree with the OP.

Fellow BHs, stop hunting Jedis and go NPC instead !

NPCs don't trashtalk, don't run, don't make hate tells. It's a pleasure to hunt them.

What ? Ah yes... they're not more powerful than a BH so there is no challenge... anyway, there is no challenge either in hunting Jedis, they're less powerful in PvP, it's the reason whyall Jedis don't want to do PvP, they don't stop to repeat it when a BH come for them.

What ? team of Jedis enjoying to kill non Jedi in fair 4vs1 fights ? you're just trolling, Jedis are all peace and love.

Sorry about the troll guys but I couldn't resist

(if a "true" Jedi (and not a J3d1) read this, I apologize to him but he's one of the less played profession of the game)

Hey, I have an idea for the OP : your point is that Jedi are too weak against BH ? come and go play some games in Deep space :smileywink

Well I don't see BH not hunting Jedi because they fear us. They don't really fear jedi. Its like rifle hunting a radio collared bear. Sure the bear can attack, but that radio collar really helps a person get the upper hand.

I also believe most BH expect to get a successful kill every mission. Just don't feel them fearing me.

How can you say you've lived life if you've never danced?
Well I do remember Han having a one piece suit made out of carbonite but it weighed a ton. Still it didnt require any ironing and was very wear resistant.
Thanks SOE! The CU and NGE gave me my life back. Thanks! Bitterness is the taste of love lost, a tear of acid that burns the heart.
Long gone, in sorrow of song. Stand I make to deliver hope with twisted temporal past, for the ripples in time distort what affects when. Prowlies a must see Clicky!
As a dreamer I sing to the sea and imagine the possibilities and potential this game could free, but when I get home a sad sight there be. A lost fool, for once was is gone, what could've been to never be, and the angel of my heart to be forgotten, locked away by the key of SOE.

Ifight every bounty hunter. I fight them with general cert weapons 'specially my visually-scoped FWG5. I engage in dialogue and flip toolbars to activate 'emote' macros that describe what i am doing. I 'dive' to the ground and go prone and 'leap' up into the air cartwheeling into a combat stance. I lead them on a chase to find a 'dramatic' place to do battle

My advice to Jedi is have fun with it, it can be a blast. Espcecially after you send the BH to the cloner and get a simple tell such as " that was awesome!"

Though i will admit there a few individuals that really know how to execute their template. I tend to buckle down with these few and fight for my life

and, Bounty Hunters do have things to lose: Credits (mission payout, droids, degraded equipment); PvP rating (not really significant I grant you but a nice mini-game); Time (get mission, wait for droid, ship to planet, track jedi, fight jedi-especially nice when they get no payout for it). What are you losing? XP which you can no doubt grind back in an hour or so with the ridiculous group-xp gains

I've played both,...I enjoy both...I like the challenge that both temps provide whether it be hunter or hunted...People can complain about both until their blue in the face...Ohhh, omg!…Jedi get this!,… BHer's get that!!!...So what?! Learn your characters strengths, their weakness...Switch it up if need be...Change and versatility is a good thing...Becuz bottom line, you’ll win some and you'll loose some...Simple as that...Make the best of it and remember its only a game with a verity of options…Unless SoE decides to give all the "whiners" out there the "Instant Kill Button" to any particular profession will be the day I retire. BH can attack me all they want. I think it's fun.

I am an SOE customer, now only if they'd treat me as one...hell, I'd be happy if they treated me like a McDonald's customer.

i'm not a jedi, but i got curious when i head someone say they know jedi who are truely scared of Bh, and i thought... why? so here's by buck '05 to the mix....

truth is the BH who consistantly go against jedi are not the majority of BH's, and are ones who do their home work usually. for the rest of us without the 5mil weapons and 50mil armor (whoever said we have ADK's on everything... yeah... 5 pieces of armor and a gun at 10mil+ per ADK? riiiight)

BH is so completely nerfed against even a padawan, unless the BH has some really rocked out armor and a nice weapon, with either an uber pet or some kind of medic skills (CM at 4000 is popular these days) you're probably going to take him down, particularly if your light sabre doesn't suck.

i'm convinced that the only jedi who go down are ones who don't have any idea what they are doing, or they made a tragic mistake somewhere in their defensive strategy. you gius can macro your force defenses.... we have.... dualist stance... yippie. the only defensive ability we have, lasts 30 seconds and only have the defense as the jedi force defensive ability. not to mention dualist stance completely eats your mind away.... which kills your healing ability.... and buffs just aren't what they used to be.

i am not whining or complaining, i'm just saying, there isn't a single knight out there who should fear a BH if they actually play the role of a jedi (hey, convenient, it;s a role playing game!!!) which means it's probably a bad idea to stand in front of theed space yelling "pwn joo dood,un00b" and generally running around being a jerk, as those activites may distract you from someone waiting for just the right opportunity to walk over and DB you while you're down.

not that it really matters that i mention this, as probably the vast majority of jedi out there who do these stupid things don't know these forums even exist, just like they mastered some combat profession never realising the numbers on their weapon's statitics mean anything special, or never found out what "vendor search" means at the bazaar....

*********************************************************************************************************************************

some people think the $15 a month they pay for an account on an SOE server is the same as stock in Sony.

some people obviously don't get out much.

When u say u can'y beat any bh what u mean is u can't beat bh/mcm, all other bhs templates are pretty easy to deal with, its not the players fault that there is only one template that actually works against jedi.
