Does anyone know the difference when it comes to defence between m.def and m.enh???
Hmm, if I was to sum it up I would say this:
One is a Tank --
One is a Tank for like 10 seconds lol... (EH) of course..lol
Crowd control is a Enhancers forte, Defender is the tank...

Tkm = 6000
Fa2 =6000
Mdef = 7000
Fa2+novice def = 7000
Fa2+4040 def + 9500
I think these are right.......

FA2 + Def 40xx = 8200
FA2 + Def 44xx = 9400
FA2 + MDef = 11000 (which will be capped down to 10000)

Don't have the numbers right in front of me but its close enough...
7000 armor is roughly 50-52% dmg reduction
10k armor is somethin like 58.8 or 60% reduction.
Either way the difference in damage reducion between 7k armor and 10k armor isn't much at all.
Evasion makes a huge difference though.
M defender is great but when you pair it with another mastery (MLS in my case) and 4xxx healer, that doesn't leave you with many points left. IMO you really need channel and some kind of root or snare to be effective in both pvp and pve. Personally I chose to do x4xx Enhancer and 0404 Defender to pair up FA2 with aura and valor. This left me with more points to spend on Enhancer stuff. Sure it's a dabbler temp with less max force, but I have lots of abilities and can manage my force with channel. This combo is pretty close to as good as MDef as far as tanking goes. I just didn't see a point in MDEF anymore with the AI nerf.
Edit: oh also forgot, if you choose M Enhancer you have certain resist and feedback buffs. (Just more things to suck up force) but can come in handy from time to time, especially against some force weilders.

As far as I know those resists for bleed, state, poison, and disease are one time application cost. I think force feedback channels a certain percentage of the incoming wielder attack to your force pool and the other straight out resists it. Can't remember as I don't pvp against jedi too much.
I like Master Enhancer a lot. I didnt realize it was as close on defense as it is. And before that force pool runs out from dmg you always have FR3 to get out of town :-) Stasis and root are also wonderful damage reducers if used well :-)

And how do all the Defender+ Melee and Ranged Defence mods play in? Or are they broken too?
