Nobody is forcing you to read "stupid forced PVP threads". If they were forcing you to read them, as condition of logging into the Jedi forums, I would say to you "you should have logged into a non-jedi forum"

I doubt you will ever understand this, since you sound unreasonable from the title to the end of your post. But the heart of the matter is not whether a person likes PVP or not, it is simply a matter of playing a game for the sheer enjoyment of the game....and paying to do so. And in so doing, you should haverights not of a gamer or a jedi or any of that, but rights of a customer to be able to use the product in anyway you wish that does not interfere with other customers without their consent, and also be garunteed the same.

I mean, honestly...do you think I really want to share any part of my afternoon with some ignorant, "l33t d3wd" who does nothing but cry when I kill him, call me names...etc etc. If you think it is all just fun and games always, think again. Alot of times it is an unpleasant experience, not because of the fighting itself, but the attitudes of many we have to put up with when how they wish to play the game is thrust upon others. How many times have some of us been in the middle of a guild meeting or RP, or guild hunt or some other thing and some idiot shows up to basically do nothing more than interrupt you. That my friend is the issue. Forced pvp like this is an annoyance of the worst kind. It's like having to agree to allow incredibly annoying neighbors access in your house at all times if you wish to live there. Even though you own the house, it's the nicest on the block so you must let everyone come in anytime they want. I know that sounds silly, but it is the same justification in my mind.

I would be happy if I could simply turn it off from time to time. Sometimes I am not in the mood to battle a BH, or I am in the middle of something important to my guild and they are depending on me. Or the worst one, I have only a little time to accomplish something before I have to log. You see? I am not complaining about having to fight people. I could care less. One could even say I really get a thrill from gutting some stupid bounty hunter. The point is, I am not always interested in playing the game that way, I do other things. And since I am a paying customer, I do not appreciate being forced to do anything unless I feel like it.
