Thread: Do any Dev's have a Jedi?

I assumed from the context it was a live acount because he was talking about how he used cloak vs forcerun etc. That wouldn't be a testing acount reference.

I remember that comment though I thought it was something Keldarin had said but it might well have been Blixtev. It wasn't the devs they wer worried abuot with the Test server, they had tested it internally with Jedi enabled but they hinted there had been distractions with some of the dev/qa playing with the jedi stuff. They felt it would be even worse with the players doing it.
Every time TH or Blixtev or any of the devs admit what their characters are they get flamed by one community or the other. I agree that a red name talking openly about a Jedi character would just become a flamefest.

Yeah it could have been Keldarin, just a shame that saying you have a Jedi is like puting a big A on your forehead. Jedi could hit like nuna's and opinions will never change, sometimes I just don't understand it.

Seems that a dev would more likely admit to being a big A than admit to being a jedi on these forums.

There's no way the devs are going to talk much about their characters, much less what servers they're on or especially any info that might hint as to the identity of that character, including specifics on template. If you think you've been in"tell hell" .... wow, just imagine.
Not only that, but I'm certain large portions of the more vocal of the player populace would start accusations of favourtism, start compiling stats on nerfsthat didn't happen to a dev's character's profession (or perks that did), downtime vs uptime stats on their server vs.the dev's character's server, etc etc etc. It would be anightmare.
i honestly would like to see a Dev have a jedi character...and have to grind out all the xp to get there...im not complaining or bitching about the job they are doing...i think changes need to be made though to the jedi profession...i think we have been waiting for fixes and other promised things and are waiting to long. otherwise i cannot complain. I dont think the dev's realize how long it takes to grind jedi xp especially when u are starting out. Ive been full templated for a long time but am currently switching jedi temps entirley just cuz i got bored with Mdef...its alot to grind, i know i can do it cuz ive done it before but i doubt the devs have to grind out the xp to play
