Therefore if the action use across all healers profs is relative, we could be in a much stronger position for facing off against healer dabbler BH's
This is absolutely true, I have a pre CURB 100 SAC lightsaber and I RARELY run out of action but the majority of non-Jedi wears their action too quickly sometimes, we may have an advantage there depending on how the devs scale action cost in force heals if ever.
Which is why there was no need to slow combat down with the nerfs to speed buffs, the action bar was there to prevent people from endlessly spamming their attacks at max speed.
If this action increase hits jedi too, it will be pointless as it balances nothing, just gimps everyone equally instead of balancing the overpowered heals of docs and cms.

My personal comment, that might sound selfish, is that now you must choose if you are a damage dealer or a healer, since you really cant be both.

I concur. My guess is that they are trying to make more of a distinction between combat profs and healer profs...where this leaves the "poor old" CM is anyone's guess. I always viewed CM as one of the "linker professions"....ie. it acts as a bridge between 2 other base combat professions. Similar in concept to BH, Squad Leader, Smuggler and Ranger (as it is due to become).
I would be much happier if CM returned more to it's old role of a combat helper and debuffer. Having too much medical enhancement to it's trees has forced it into a role of main healer, especially for dabblers taking the 4000 line. I'd be happier to see a few more mods for accuracy and speed in the CM trees, but along with a moving of it's inherent healer bonuses to higher up in the trees. As a unique "linker" profession, the bacta toss enhancers should be enough to give it an edge that no other healer has....without giving it the overall healing edge that Doc should have.

Reports from testcenter is that actioncost is upped for Heals.

please stop crying, they dont nerfed our healing. but couz of NDA iam not allowed to say... you ahve to wait 3 more weeks
Can everyone please stop crying ? First of all this is a rumour. Second, EVEN if this is true, this effects NON-JEDI more than Jedi, because Jedi can heal every 6 seconds while Non-Jedi can heal every second by using different heals and this NERF is for Non-Jedi, aka BH / CMs you have all been whining about.
No, I am not a BH, I'm just a pissed pre-pub 9 Jedi sick of newb Jedi crying for everything.

So are we not allowed to discuss the change and how it will affect us? I'm sick of pre-CU jedi being all high and mighty and telling everyone else how things should be...This change looks as if it changes heals for everyone...so in essence...NOTHING CHANGES...everyone gets nerfed....
If you check my sig you see my alt: Master Doctor, Master Combat Medic, Master Medic, 1000 Brawler.

But you *ARE* saying.. If you're in the beta and bound by NDA, you and others should stop coming in here and dropping hints but saying "I'm not allowed to say". Take a hint from the correspondents.. if you're not allowed to reveal details, don't say anything at all. It just upsets everyone, and most assuredly a lot of it is taken out of context.
