What im trying to find out: Whats the fascination to play Jedi? If you do the same things like any other profession.

so actually nothing you need to be a Jedi for as FRS is disabled anyways? Thats all stuff you could do with your alts as well (sometimes even better probably).

Its star wars, jedi is a huge part of that.
I went ahead and xp capped.
Then Tape capped.
Help guildmates/friends.
My bh is a better loot **edit** than my jedi.
I use my jedi for shopping and running errands(ie check harvesters and search for resources)since he has force run and ROTW/JTL.
If i didn't have a good saber, I'd be killing krayts and 111s.
I PvP and duel with him occasionally just to keep my skills honed.
I play my AS and My BH about 8:1 compared to my jedi.

Just listening to your saber fire up is entertaining. I have more fun with my Jedi than I had with any other profession. Plus, the BH/Jedi game..although rather poorly designed...is rather fun.Knowing you're on the terms and trying to go quest etc. is an adrenaline rush.
1. PvP (it's ok, but boring)
2. Ebay (A Thousand dollars down sounds nice)
3. Help other people grind (how sad can you get)
I want to hear the people who play Jedi because they like to play Jedi.

lets exclude the "making money with SWG items/accounts thingie"
I want to hear the people who play Jedi because they like to play Jedi. And why they like it. And what they do
Thats the problem now there is no real reason to play jedi, Jedi is underpowered compared to standard professions, they have constant risk when playing PVE from BH attack, they are 10 a penny and people hate seeing them.
I play mine because it is my combat character no other reason, i have just as much fun on my dancer/smuggler alt but she isnt suited to high level combat, i didnt see the point of using my alt to have a second combat toon.

And why they like it. When I saw A New Hope as a little kid I somewhat idolized old Ben Kenobi and I always thought Wookiees were cool, so I was pretty happywhen a game finally came around where I could combine the two. (Not to leave anyone out... I always had a crush on Leia, wanted to beHan, and always imitated Vader- who hasn't wanted to force choke the boss at one time or another? Not me
) I like Jedi for the helpful hermit I can play, it's solid enough for PvE still that even if someone isn't that strong a player I can help them get through quests that they might normally need to waste hours looking to get a full 8 person group to get done.
And what they do . Not PvP, I figure PvP brings out the worst in people, and I'm not sure people were all that good to begin with
besides, I figure Jedi have ruined PvP in this game enough, so I don't add to it unless I'm forced to.I am pretty much a BH's worst nightmare for a mark anyways since I spend about 1/2 my time in space and the other half on Kash, good luck finding me![]()
Since I finished my template (after a year of grinding- I don't grind well) I have:
Achieved Ace in all 9 pilot squadrons...
Come within 5 content badges of having every non-profession related badge in-game....
Soloed about 80% of the RotW quests (just to see if I could)....
Helped a few friends and a bunch of random strangers that needed it through some of thehigh-end RotW quests.....
Still have some space loot to get (also want the elusive BS ace helm) to finish up my RE work on my ships (B-wing and Adv X), then I'll finish the quests and badges I haven't gotten to in RotW yet. So I still have plenty to do.

So you are a full template Jedi. Got your template you headed for and you are happy with it. No negative xp. Enough banked as well.
Whats left then? What you do in game? Im noseyYou PvP a lot? Hunt with guildies/friends? Roleplay? Whats your typical SWG day as finished Jedi?
Once your on the terminals, you could fight the Bounty Hunters thatcome at about 3 an hour, But that gets as boring as hell too!
