u guys can flame me all u want for this, but i'm tired of seeing everyone in space with a JSF or belbullab. i don't fly them, because they aren't a challenge. i fly a TIE interceptor on my alt and an A wing (1 for pve, 1 for pvp) on my main. love them more than a JSF, just a bit more challenging to fit together than a JSF, i bet i could make a mad jsf if i wanted lol

I PvP with a 2nd gen saber to make it more challenging. Ok I dont, because Im not stupid...

do u use space at all? space is a challenge of your abilities as a pilot. Ground is a test of your template abilities more than human ability. in space, a novice pilot can lose with the best equipment against a pilot who knows his ship and his limitations. They are totally different, do not try to compare them.

Well then whatever you do don't mention the JSF in the 'right' forum. The only responses you will get are NERF NERF NERF...

JSF is a better ship, it handles a bit nicer in my opinion. I fly much better in the JSF than the Bel and they have pretty much identical parts.

As far as the computer is concerned, they fly no differently. "Pretty much identical" is not "identical". The base ships stats (aside from the hitbox as mentioned above) are identical. Any performance increase is solely psychological (perhaps you expect to fly better in a JSF than a GSF, so you do). I have tested this with *identical* parts and there's no difference. JSF = GSF. just different skins. FWIW, I think ever the Clone fighter has ths same stats (but it's been so long since I flew it, what with the weapon bug and all )

Dont mention JSF too much. The word "Jedi" in there might get a snare thrown on it.

I like it. It is quick, agile, and looks nice. But how does it compare with the Grevious fighter? I havent loaded that one yet.

It owns the bellabub in every way possible.

It's faster, more agile, has more effecient energy management and has 10k more mass.

Take all the parts out of your inventory, and load up ONE of the two ships. FLy it for a while then load the exact same parts into the other ship. There is a VERY noticable difference.

Remember boys and girls, the DEVs are huge fans of hidden modifiers.

I have, and they're no different. The stats are what they are: the same (PVR, Mass, etc). I've smoked JSF's in my Greivous and been smoked by a Greivous while in my JSF. I've loaded both with identical parts and run tests (max speed, snap turns, etc) with timers, friends looking on, etc and they're the same. I've been doing JtL since Day 1 and was pickedas one of the 5 pilots for the (non-existant) alpha test of the CU. (I say that not tosuggest "I'm the man" but only to pointout that I'm no noob to JtL.) Simply put, it's in your mind that the JSF is better. The stats are on my side. "The Devs are fans of hidden modifiers" is on yours. Sorry, unless you can give us numbers, you lose. JSF = Greivous

PS If you REALLY want the skinny on this, try posting in the Pilot forums and see what answers you get. That's where the "experts" hang out...
