Thread: So it seems being AFK in a house is a problem.

The problem isn't the BH hate for the AFK Jedi. It's the BH hate for the Jedi who likes to decorate. Let's face it, an interior designing Jedi is exploiting beyond the bounds of reason.

We constantly get missions from the top because Your own venders see you.
so we're stuck wasting our valuable time and cant go in.
No We Should not get a Key to your door.
We should Blow it Down And Knock you out.

Funny, but true. It's the text book response many BH give when Jedi take the opportunity to voice concerns about what's slowly being done to their professions. I'm sure some have it in their clipboard, ready to paste in reply to any thread that pops up about how crap and weak we're becoming.
Not only do BH assume they should be able to win every fight, they now assume every Jedi should be attackable when they want. Ironically, all from a profession that takes 5 days to grind 
Thats just a 2 week grind and your saying you want 2-3x stronger? I never Ever once heard Jedi Complaining about MBH being To good, The only Nerfs are fired at the professions MBH Are Looped with.

I don't have a problem with being hunted. What I have a problem with is the reactions I will get from a BH if I'm in my house.
I don't stay in my house AFK all day. I have a macro set up that keeps me online for 30 minutes, then sit's me down and logs me out. I use this for when real life calls for me. You know the wife or the kids, that kind of thing. It is my hope to get back to the computer prior to the log out. Most of the time I do, in the event that it I don't my toon will auto logout for me.
So that being said, I don't appreciate Hate tells from people because I'm in my house. The BH that wants to hunt me can patiently wait while I change my kids diaper (Belive me I'm not enjoying being AFK) or come on over and do it for me so I don't have to go AFK.
You're not hunting NPC's these are real people with real lives and game aspriations that are differnt from yours. I don't play my Jedi to be your source of content. I play a Jedi to enjoy the experience of living in the SW universe as a charecter that I have long aspired to have. That your desire and mine can overlap and create more dynamic gameplay is a welcome one.
The problem lies in a BH or Jedi who dosn't see two sides. Yes the BH get's to hunt a Jedi. Yes the Jedi knows this before becoming a Jedi. No where does it say the BH will win every battle or even get to fight each hunt. There is no rule that says a mid level padawan has to stand and fight every time a BH comes after him.
The whole he's AFK in his house thing is getting old. I'm all for a mechanism to take me off the board while I'm in a residence I own.

Any hardcore gamer will get his stuff done very quickly, I know one guy that went from CL 5 to MBH in a single day, yes including investigation (I think he sliced bases), a hardcore grinding Jedi will get it done faster than anyone else be it 2 weeks or 1 month when the average grinder takes 3-6 months. Do you have the same problem with some noob that loads in Mos Eisley with the intruduction window and within 48 hours is a fully templated MBH/MCM/RIfles 4000 ready to rock the Jedi population?

You can grind BH in a fraction of the time. Whats your point?
Furthermore, the 2-week-estimate you are giving is 2 weeks of 24/7 playing, if you cut that down to about 4 hours playtime per day you are facing 12 weeks.

From what i heard the idea is for something like if you have been afk for over 1/2 hour even with a recursive macro running you will be logged out. TBH there's no reason to be AFK for more than 1/2 hour, if you're going to the shops simply log out. I learnt the hard way when I first stated playing and went AFK in my house while I had dinner. When I came back I'd had the butt-slide form hell out of my house and into the middle of a pack of voritors and then on to the cloner.
If someone is ATK in their house decorating or chatting and a BH turns up there's no way what they should be forced out of their house and there aren't any plans for this to occur.
Simple way to achieve this is to have a maximum of 1 line in a macro.
