Double xp and respec are the most stupids ideas i never see in this game
Some pre cu jedi were grinding during 2/3 month to have a full temp andallnew padanoob (after the cu and during respect/double) xp were grinding only during .....1 week !
im not agree to reintroduce this stupid system

So many novice boxes, it was tough managing all those skill points.
I don't care if I get permanently banned for this but,
**edit**
Cant stand you lil snot nosed pansies running around with your glow stick like its a badge of honor. You took advantage of a stoopid system to get where you are and without it you would still be trolling the Force sensitive forums on ways to sploitz your way to Jedi.
Next time you die come and scream and cry about how weak you are, how it sucks and you lost a little XP...
WOOOPTIE DOO
You give those that earned it a bad name.
i think you rather give those that earned it a bad name by comments like this.

Yeah but we're just getting rid of all the people that obtained Jedi in this manner. Now if you do that we'll have nothing but another influx of whiny people that don't know their profession and can't PvP when they're too stupid to do what it takes to stay off the terminals. Who'd want all that to happen?

Repsec and Double xp should not be given willy nilly. The only reason it was given in the first place was due to the Combat Upgrade so people could try new templates etc. Then and only then was it a good idea.
Chimeara having the x4 xp week was crazy as I'm sure we have the highest jedi population, including myself, of any server atm.
And before I get flamed for grinding jedi in x4 xp week blah blah I unlocked after the x4 xp thingy. I'm still grinding jedi but at my own pace and have changed template more times than I care to remember.
As one post stated, with spin groups theses days it easy to change your template at the drop of a hat. One guildie ground MLS in 6 days so its not that hard
I think that if SOE have a major **edit** up again like the 2 week rollback of chimeara then maybe we should have another x2 xp but for no other reason than "I cba to grind" thats just lazy imo.
If you don't like it quit and go play WOW.

Why not just give us 30 or 40 token respecs, that way with have more options for the future nerfing.

while respec time would allow us to change our templates more easily, it could also be too easily exploited. i think they should enable some sort of "respec" system considering the drastic changes in what it now takes to survive in the game, but they should make it what respec should have been to begin with. rather than basing it on tiers they should base it on xp. when you respec have each box cost the same number of respec points as it would xp (ie. mls would cost 3.2 mil jedi repec points) when you give up a box you would get as many points as that box costs and you can spend the points on any boxes that require that type of points (have separate point types for weapons, combat, medical, and essentially everything with its own conversion rate at the village as well as the jedi point type). this way people could not use respec to get boxes they never earned enough xp for and people who want to alter their template to fit with the times can. it would essentially just be a way to transfer xp from one template to another without any potential for exploiting.
