I'm pre9, myself, and I respect your opinions. Mine are...
- Whether its consentual or not, the bottom line is that for most of the time I've had mine, to play my Jedi, I've been forced to PvP.
- Jedi SHOULDN'T be a risk PERIOD, especially if it offers no reward.
- Forced participation in PvP for a class SHOULDN'T happen because promotes harmful gameplay dynamics between players.
I'm glad SOE/LA seems to agree with my opinions, not yours.

Hey... you don't unlock anymore remember???????!!!! There isn't even any extra strength one gets from being a jedi. No reward PERIOD, so no risk PERIOD. If jedi was still an unlcok which was 1 1/2 times stronger than regular combat profession then sure, but not now.
Meh, BHs vs Jedi has always been a stable of this game. And I think it should remain that way. If there is no reward for jedi, then there should be no downside to getting killed by a BH. To me, Jedi in this game is just not jedi without having to watch over your back for a BH.
Actually, when I started playing at launch, there was no such thing as Jedi. Then, once the first Jedi showed up, it was quite a while before BHs were allowed to hunt them.

You're using a very narrow view of things, anyway. In the history of jedi, its a relatively NEW thing that we've actually been told what exactly generates visibility. For a long, long time, that game system was kept unknown to players.

You're an idiot, do you know that? The vis system is flawed. 99% of other players would never see me doing jedi stuff. The only ones who do see my lightsaber are my friends. And when we're grouped, I get no vis. Now, in order to enjoy the game and participate in the available content, I have to fight npcs. Npcs generating vis is stupid. That's the only way I would ever get on the terminals because I don't flash my glowbat around other players. Don't try to support a flawed system

Since its now a starting profession (or part of it for that matter) this cant be the case. Plus, you dont get an alt after completing Jedi so you can only play your Jedi, plus, you cant change professions in game anymore, you have to delete and start over.
