Thread: PvP Game Balance

I have seen a number of trends come and go and as a player I expect to see trends in PvP, I know that improvements can always be made to playbalance, and as paying customers we should expect that no one Flavor of the Month build comes to be too dominant or encourages play in ways that are not fun.
I dont think Soe is really listening to the community and tends to FIX things that the paying players dont really see as a top priority.
*Jedi speed modifiers are not working! That should be top priority it totally unbalances jedi as a profession when the only difference between 0000 lightsaberist and a master lightsaberist is the base speed difference on their saber and the accuracy mods.
*There is an unbalance between special attack costs of a jedi and all other professions. Without the xxx4 tree of enhancer a jedi is forced to rest for large amounts of time between battles and no other profession has that penalty.
*out of balance at the moment is things like the existing Combat que that is really hard to follow. Its helping the combat speed bug and the kd bug for one,
Suggested Fix: Bring back the pre cu combat que, it was easy to follow in combat you could see what was happening in a glance and would be a very popular move amongst the player base.
*The healing dilemma, there seems to be a great unbalance between doc/cm/and jedi healers.
There are alot more things but those things I see as most important at the moment for our profession.
qfe especially on the combat cue, i would be happy camper if they fixed:
pearl drops
reinstated pre-cu combat que
fixed jedi speed mods

Maybe instead of "light sabers" they could be called "extremely heavy sabers" then the costs would be more right sounding. In the info get "Your saber weighs 45 kilos" making mass crafting the saber similar to shipwright crafting. When you hafta use 2000 marksman and a rifle because your saber has drained ya dry using saber attacks or if you just hafta use saber attack on auto and just try to outheal damage when you attacking an NPC the same level as you somethings funky in the water. Why do NPCs have like 17k health to when your own health is 3k and your both the same level? If fighting an NPC was similar to fighting another player maybe people could get better skills pvp wise.
well i suppose balance has to start some where, even if it means soe dropped the 20kg weight on the wrong end of the scale outbalancing jedi 50%
