I haven't seen a positive post about this game is some time now. I think that is very sad.
Personally I am starting to get upset about all the nerfs/bugs/exploits/etc, and I have generally been one of the ones who tried to hold on to the belief that eventually the devs would fix things the right way. I'm starting to wonder. I've played this game for almost 2 years now, worked for over a year to get my jedi, and after all thatnow my character is no better than any level 80 template. It's just depressing to me.
Anyways, enough of my opinions, what I want to know is if anyone still aroundis happy with the way things are?

I partially agree.
The current state of the game is a terrible thing. It's not going to be possible to increase market share above 8% with track record of SOE's developement studio.
As for a constant "redefining" of the game: I welcome it. I enjoy a challenge and love being able to learn new ways to play a character or a roll in a game as dynamic as SWG. This is why I've stayed so long.
The bugs and exploits are terrible. I take this as a sign that SOE has gave up on the game and is only intended to increase product sales with the view that "they are hooked!"
I'm terribly dissapointed that there's a poor implementation of a GCW with no true reward for obtaining ranks within the system. If there were able to create a system where you could act as a commander and give basic directions (out flank - left) to large scale battles I would likely commit myself to this game.A system which supports an RTS approach to the GCW is what's needed for this game.
My prediction was the GCW expansion would be produced for holiday sales in the winter of 2005. I'm think I missed this mark by about 4-6 months - we'll have to wait till June 2006. (soe and poor timing - Empire at War will be availble which will demand a large portion of players activities pulling them away from SW:G)

/hmmms "I think the Dev's do not think we like good products, considers leaving the game.. "you realize that SONY has the most expensive, laptops that are mass produced. I think Sony is bad all around never owned a SONY products I liked. I am tired of the runnin in circles LUcas Arts might be part of the problem but they alone would be responsible and this alliance crap only delays even more response to imbalance in this game..

happiness isn't something your given, it's something you make...that said, it's possible,when providedthe right tools, for the process to be alot easier.
I'm more happy than I am sad....but there is alot that I feel is missing.
